View Full Version : Test Cause of Death
From PWInsider:
The UK Sun is reporting that the cause of death in the case of Andrew "Test" Martin is oxycodone intoxication as a result of an accidental overdose.
Oxycodone is found in the painkillers OxyContin, Percoset and Percoden.
Martin was found dead in his Tampa, Florida apartment on March 14th. The former WWE star was four days shy of his 34th birthday.
The Sun's coverage of the story can be found at this link.
A call placed to the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's office was not answered, as they were closed for the evening.

it seriously sucks that i have to say "not a surprise" to this, and not just because it was test.

Andrew was a good man and unfortunately, succumbed to his demons. Although he showed a lot of promise throughout his career, he never really seemed to get back on track after his fiasco with Stephanie McMahon. Test never really regained his momentum after the monumental blow. And to be honest, that's really what seperates the men from the boys. Your ability to overcome adversity.
All wrestlers go through adversity. The cream of the crap however, overcome their demons..and not succumb to them. Austin was hit by a car and was piledriven neck first by Owen Hart. Despite that however, Austin was a multiple time world champ.
How many severe injuries did Triple H, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, and John Cena return from?....only to find themselves at the winner's circle?
It's all about attitude.
I loved Andrew as much as any but simply put, the man succumbed to his demons. He was a great human being however and will be severely missed.

I hate it when wrestling fans say stuff like this. It's creepy.

If the Sun is reporting that he died of an overdose, then he is probably still alive.
