Yep.

So after getting a brand new one in October 07, my 360 has RROD'd again.

Called them, did the whole bit, etc, etc.

But did anyone know that Microsoft is apparently still putting out the first generation power supply (Zephyr) in their new systems? I had thought the newest system, called Jasper, would have helped to combat RRODs.

Apparently you can tell by looking at the voltage on your system which power supply you have.

The lower the voltage (best is 12.1, I think), the better the system. 12.1 is Jasper, 14 is Falcon, and higher is Zephyr (which was mine, even though it was a BRAND new system manufactured back in October of 2007).

Anyone know anything about this?

Yes, people have been talking about Jaspers for months as though it were the holy grail. Just like the Falcons before them.

Not that I wouldn't mind one of the newer models....

I have no fucking clue. As long as the shits stop dying I don't care.

Just remember. Every new revision is a panacea until shown to be otherwise.
