Found something a tad interesting on IMDB.com
For Walking Tall, which is The Rocks 3rd movie that the Rock has starred in, he is making 15,000,000. He's making 15 mil on his 3rd goddamn movie... Upon looking up other actor's, he's doing damn good for himself ( better then a lot of other big name actors.)
Also, apparently the reason Vinnie Mac is listed as the Exec producer on Rocky's movies was due to a trade off. Apparently Rock was able to own all his own merchandise, logo's, and the name The Rock, instead of the WWE, and the trade off was that Vince would be given the role in his movies.

Yep and he's collecting on it, its a no brainer why he doesn't need to be wrestling anymore.

Even if he doesn't get anymore work beyond the stuff he's already agreed to do, he still never has to step in a wrestling ring again for the rest of his life.

The Rock beats the hell out of Hulk Hogan when it comes to acting abilities.
Yet that isn't really saying much, brotha.

I noticed that Vince's name was in Rundown and Scorpion King. Thats because Vince gets money for letting Rock off contract time to make movies. Thats why he also gets the billing that he gets. I guess Vince just found one more way to make money.

I hear Walking Tall isn't very good. Also it's only 70 minutes or something.

Come on, Hogan was great on The A-Team, Thunder In Paridise, and Mr. Nanny is a pretty good flick.
Reading the Toronto Sun at work yesterday, they gave Walking Tall 1 star. Aparently, to lose the R rating it initially received, they totally butchered the film. However, Dwayne says it'll be on DVD the way it originally was filmed.

I saw it. It was short, but damn good.

With that kind of money he can start his own wrestling company.

I'm not surpised he's getting 15 mil. Both his previous movies topped the Box office with like 20 million on the opening weekend or something.

You know once you've seen one Rock movie, you've seen them all.
He really bores me as an actor and all his movies just seem the same, to me at least.
But he must be doing something right if he's bringing in 15 MILLION!

Eh, he's not the greatest actor or anything, but I enjoyed Scorpion King, and what little I saw of Rundown. Amazing that he's making that much money htough
I thought Rundown was a great action/comedy and after seeing Walking Tall I thought it was a great movie as well. The Rock is definitely one of the better action heros I've seen for quite some time. I've liked all his movies so far and looking forward to his future ones.

I wonder how long it will take hollywood to finally put Rock and some of the big name actors together. Like Stallone or Willis. But since there last movies bombed it might not be a good thing to do that.

He's making $15,000,000???? Considering it did $15,300,000 in
the opening weekend, and Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed
did $15,100,000 in it's second week :-\
