I made a thread just over a month ago that I was concerned about how the card was shaping up and how predictable it all was. I have not seen a second of wrestling since then and am just back from a trip...how was it?
Good/Bad? Where does it rate on a scale of all time Mania's? What annoyed you, what did you love? Would be nice to hear some opinions as I know very little apart from who won what matches and would like to hear opinions now that the hype and discussion has settled a few weeks after...

Overall I thought Wrestlemania this year was pretty shit, though the Michaels/Undertaker match was absolutely amazing, and I think it's generally considered to be a five star match without argument.
The Cena/Edge/Big Show match was good, as was the Hardys match, but the rest was pretty terrible.

I thought MITB was okay, but to be honest it didn't seem so fun this year.

Yeah it was pretty bad. I don't think I'd put it as one of the worst WrestleManias of all time but I'm thinking just lower half.
Taker vs. HBK was unbelievable. One of the best matches I have ever seen. I thought Santina winning the battle royal was pretty awesome although the match, the lack of acknowledgment of the past divas, and Kid Rock performing WAY too long before it was atrocious. The Hardys match was a disappointment for me, though I know others enjoyed it. It was just nothing special. MITB was good, as was the short Jericho vs. Steamboat portion of the legends match. Other than that, the triple threat was nothing that stood out and the HHH vs. Orton match was a huge let down.
So yeah, for a four hour PPV (And it surprisingly went nearly the entire four hours) there was about an hour of good stuff.

MITB was good but there were too many competitors that you knew had no shot to win.

CM Punk was one of those for me.

In my opinion, it was a major let down. All/most storylines were rushed, feuds were just band-aided together, and the WWE showed very little creativity. The outcomes for the most part, were very predictable and boring.
-JBL/Mysterio? limited build up
-HBK/Taker - great match, but why not continue the JBL/HBK thing? Especially after all the work that the WWE put into it? Why not have JBL force HBK to face his buddy HHH?
-Cena/Big Show/Edge - limited build up. Again - why throw Cena into a feud (for one month) that had absolutely no build up? Absolute garbage.
-Triple H/Orton - Again...limited build up. Why not go with Orton/Cena...a tension that had been brewing for months? Why have Triple H go over a guy that is the hottest thing that the WWE has had in years? (not being a faggot here btw, I'm talking from a sports-entertainment perspective).
-Jericho vs. Legends: Again - zero creativity. How much would the fans have marked out if Austin had come out on the beer truck and beat the shit out of Jericho? What if both Hogan and The Rock came out and hit their finishers on Jericho?!? Go crazy. Go nuts! It would've been awesome to see all the legends hitting their finishers on Jericho while showing comraderie with one another.
-Why have CM Punk win the MITB?....again. Why not elevate someone new? Why not have CM Punk go over Edge?.....a win of which would have elevated Punk to that next level.
-Why build Jeff Hardy so much over the year, only to piss him away to his brother Matt?
As far as I go, I just saw a lot of things wrong with this PPV.
Santina winning the women's battle royale was cool/creative, and the HBK/Taker match was AWESOME, but this PPV could have been so more.
It's absolutely ridiculous that Orton didn't win.

The buildup for HHH vs. Orton was great.

No offense, but my advice...watch it online. It's all on DailyMotion.

It wasn't the best, and it wasn't the worst. I guess you should just watch it yourself and make your own mind up.
