I am thinking about getting a subscription to Rolling Stone.

Are there any readers of it that can give me a fair opinion of it?

The articles about popular culture and new items are sometimes a good read. The critics are such douches, though. They only like Jackson Browne and At The Drive In and think everything else sucks. They also enjoy the smell of their own farts.

So you don't like it that much?

I'd say Triple Naitch is spot on.

One of my favourite magazines. Great articles on a huge variety of stuff.

My ex-wife had a subscription for like, 2 years. This assessment is 100% accurate.

Yeah my friend gets a subscription to it. I read it sometimes and I get the feeling the critics are always searching for bands that only 20 people will like so they can call it Avante-gard.

It's worth it for all the articles, but you can skip the reviews. I've already made my thoughts clear on music critics in general.

If you want it for a music magazine, it's horrible. There's way too much leftwing political monkeying in it to be considered a music magazine. If you consider it the lifestyle magazine for faggot hippies, you'll probably be ok.Also, if Bob Dylan is involved in anything, they will personally spitshine his balls. IT's disgusting.

So, what I am getting here is that some of the articles are good.

Reviews suck.

Music they recommend is ok

The magazine sucks and is ecologically inefficient as well. There is one decent writer whose name escapes me. Matt Taibbi? Anyway, he is a decent political writer, but is one of the few bright spots left there.
