E&C reek of Awesomeness. Point final!!

Edge and Christian were great in an era where we had a tag team division. There were great matches between Team 3D, The Hardy's, DX, the Nation(to a lesser extent), and so on. Edge and Christian shined in numerous feuds and memorable matches.
Miz and Morrison made tag teams matter in an era where VINCENT KENNEDY MCMAHON didn't give a monkey's nutsack about Tag Teams. Did they have one famous rivalry? Nope. It was two guys who were stuck in the midcard and decided to take this chickenshit and make a golden chicken egg. These guys worked EVERY show during a 'brand specific' era. Who else does that? They looked great against DX, without being carried. Who else does that? I don't think Edge and Christian would be able to truly get over as a team in this current climate in the WWE. Conversely, I know that The In Crowd would flourish with the tag teams that were around in the attitude era.

Oh, and let me add that I absolutely love Edge and Christian, but I dont' think they are a better tag team than Miz and Morrison.

Have to give it to The In Crowd.

Edge & Christian and Miz & Morrison have both had great promos. Some of the best in recent memory. But Edge & Christian were the best tag team in probably the most deep tag team division in history. Miz & Morrison are/were the best tag team of their time by default.

Naitch times three, I love you to death, but by default? Cryme TYme is over by default. The In Crowd is over because they are great toghether, on the Mic, and in the ring. They had to bust ass harder to be noticed as a team in an era where VKM Shits in Tag Teams' bags.

Miz and Morrison
What they did with the Tag Division in a time where the Tag Titles mean nothing was very impressive. Edge and Christian are very good, but as Krimzon said these two did everything they needed to do. They were on all the shows.

Great choice of pic for Miz and Morrison.

Edge and Christian.
But Morrison and Miz were amazing and definitely worthy of being considered a modern-day E&C. Had to go with E&C though, so many memories from matches, promos and the TLCs.
Just wanted to add that is a cool pic of M&M though. :y:

I think shining and going over in a time when there were actually tag teams is better than being a great tag team with no real competition. Don't get me wrong, Miz and Morrison were a fun run, but they only really had the Colons to contend with. E & C had memorable feuds with the Hardyz, APA, Too Cool, and the same level of promos, teamed up with Angle, did the TLC thing, had feuds against "super-teams" like the Rock/Undertaker...oh, and they played a kazoo. I'm sure if the Slammies had been active at that point they would have won those too. Miz and Morrison's run could have been on that level, but they really had nobody to do anything against. It's a bad sign when you're bumping your tag champions to the internet.

Miz and Morrison were great but they just haven't had the tenure or impact of E&C. E&C had an incredible tag division to work with, and two great rival teams. After many great fueds and matches they solidified themselves as one of the greatest and most successful tag teams ever. They were together and on top of their game for long enough to build a legacy and a great body of work. This team, and their rival tag teams, as well as the TLC match they all created, was a massive draw. That success is still carrying over today in their singles careers.
Miz and Morrison were great. One of the best WWE tag teams of the decade, if not the best, on paper. They had more potential than was ever met though. They had no real memorable fueds, a very limited tag division (if any) to work with, and no real breakout moment. Their short-lived union also hurts, since they were never able to display how entertaining they were on much more than WWE.com and occasionally ECW.
E&C win this easily in my book.
I hate Miz and Morrison.
More to the point, I hate everything about Miz. Morrison is the future.

Miz and Morrison don't even come close to Too Cool let alone Edge and Christian.
For the record, I really liked Miz and Morrison.

Edge and Christian. MizMo is great, but they've had next to no competition, and hence haven't made as much of an impact, whereas E&C was the best team when there were a number of quality teams making a genuinely enthralling tag division.
That being said, I think MizMo could have been amazing in the Attitude era.

Edge and Christian.
I started to like the In Crowd, but really don't like the Mizstake. Morrison I started to like just from his performances in the ring.
E & C were a great tag team in a great era of tag teams.

Here's the thing, Edge and Christian were insanely over at a time when a Tag Team Title match could HEADLINE A PPV. I know they had a great division then, but the one thing that a wrestler needs to get over is usually...ANOTHER WRESTLER! There were teams that PUT E&C over. I hate that my posts seem like they are degrading the awesomeness of E&C, because the reek of it.
I'm simply stating the fact that they had competent teams and competent booking that helped them look like the blonde gods they were. MizMo had none of that. They were midcarders on ECW. E C fucking W!!!! They made themselves. They buried people with clever skits, and promos, and then they beat the shit outta the actual goons. They are entirely products of their own chemistry, talent and hardwork. That's all.

I voted E&C but I want it understood that if Miz held up his half better there would have been far more of a contest.

I just think the reason Miz and Morrison are the team to pick here is what I have been saying, they have done so much with no Tag Team Division. Edge and Christian are great, but they were in a time when the Tag Division was amazing. Its is so bad now and Miz and Morrison made it entertaining
