Is it a new brand? A new show? A cross-brand show? At first I thought it was just repeating old matches from the past. Is it a Heat/Velocity type deal? Or is it once-in-a-while thing like Saturday Nights Main Event?
Someone explain.

Whoops just realised this probably belongs on Q&A forum... my bad.
New show with wrestlers from all three brands

Is it weekly? Are the storylines involved or just random matches?
So far it's just random matches, though they do some angles (Matt/Jeff last week). I'm assuming that by June there won't be anymore main eventers on it.

Yes it's weekly. There's only been one show so far, but one match was a random match between Matt Hardy and the Undertaker and another was Shane McMahon vs. Cody Rhodes

Ah-ha that's cool. Thanks peoples. Gotta be honest sounds like a lame show when they're trying to seperate the brands again... oh well...
After the Draft goes into effect, I think it'll be a Raw guy vs a Raw guy, and ECW guy vs ECW guy and SD vs SD, just all one show
They tape matches at the Raw taping and at the SD/ECW taping

Yeah, it actually should end up being pretty cool if they stick with the current formula.
Nothing groundbreaking is ever gonna happen really and like Xero said, by June it will be nothing but mid-carders and below probably with the occasional main eventer but I like the thought of a Raw vs. Raw match with the Raw announcers, a SD! vs. SD! match with SD! announcers and an ECW vs. ECW match with the ECW announcers which is what the set-up seems to be.

The other match was actually the final match for the Elimination Chase to decide who faces Swagger for the ECW title. So, pretty big storyline involved (ECW-wise) atleast for the first episode. Plus Shane went coast to coast on Cody Rhodes. I guess they wanted a "moment" on the first show.

Storylines definitely carry over. Christian pinned Finlay in a Superstars match and that's what concluded and sealed his title shot at Backlash.
I don't know if that's "canon" enough for some.
Well, ECW doesn't count, so obviously it isn't canon.
Though I guess you could call it "Loose Canon".

So if they're going to have new content on their every week... Will there no longer be Super-Tapings? they'll be over 6 hour tapings...
Also, I guess this will take away from dark matches (but probably end up getting people who ususaly don't get TV time, some TV time...)

Who commentates / hosts.
I take it Kevin Kelly was a mistake then?
I didn't actually watch but skimmed it. I think each brand match is commentated by their respective announcers.
