Even though Heroes has been an up and down ride in terms of entertainment and quality, I don't think I'll give up on it.

Quite liked this season minus several episodes and story arcs, and the final of volume 4 was pretty good.

I would like to extend my condolences to the petrelli family, as Nathan was killed by Sylar :( RIP

Dont know if we're going with the whole story thing but heyho.

>In some ways there was a lot to be desired by this season finale, it seems as if Heroes has been trailing off the past few episodes and i was hoping it would be wrapped up.

The Hiro/Ando saga, while comical, has just been crappy. Ando was going to, according to Hiro, kill him at some point when Ando got his new Crimson-Arc powers, but it looks like it has veered off the deep end there. Instead it looks like Hiro instead has some sort of brain tumor which is killing him off instead. Lame. The only thing i can think of is if maybe this changes Hiro's personality into a badguy, hence why Ando goes off to kill him.

The storyline with Peter seems to have done a nosedive as well, i expected that when he touched Sylar he would gain all his powers and go down the X-Men/Rogue path and wear gloves, but instead it seems he has only taken one ability - Shapeshifting.

It was a shame that Nathan finally has been killed, especially after all the close scathes he had earlier in the seasons. The one thing that immediately came into my mind was the beginning of Season2 when he was burned, and he used Claire's blood to regenerate back to normal. That confused me this time around...

...But Syler taking over Nathans life is an interesting turn, especially as to how Syler has now been wiped clean. It did show a good snippet of him noticing the time on the clock being fast, so maybe theyre going to remake Syler completely, only in Nathans body [ie, just cause him to go on another massmurder mission].

And finally, i thought that Ali Larter was gone for good, but its interesting that the Heroes crew are using the exact same powers for her, as the Smallville crew did for that Daily Planet reporter who was able to shift into water.

So overall, im more disapointed with this, especially with Peter more than anything, just means we're going to put up with him and Hiro being powerless next season. Yay.

Sylar's coming back eventually. This all seems to be part of the same pattern where he was losing himself. He's going to come back, and I doubt he's going to be Nate Patrelli. Except, maybe, to do what they've been doing since Season 1, where Shapeshiftin' Sylar has been playing Petrelli. Even then, he was day trippin'.

The Hiro shit ain't over, I'm fairly sure of it. He's not going to give up.

I anticipate that- unless Zach Quinto wants to be done with the show - eventually Hiro will take Parkman back to before Nathan dies and save him, while letting Sylar continue on in the charade until he regains his own memories.

I wasn't very impressed with this volume of the story. I still think they could have done a lot more with Angela's sister and Suresh in the desert.

That future timeline was made redundant when the formula aspect of the story/past was changed, he killed him over a piece of the formula but once it was destroyed, that future wasn't going to ever happen, even though they did keep hinting at it - another failing from them two, I don't really like them.

Show's been disappointing. It's gone on too long. It needs a real re-invention.
