My Final Heaven

I was was having this conversation earlier while Bowling, and I figured I would come on here & start a thread. What are your favorite individual Scenes from movies? I'm not talking about entire films, I mean any particular parts that're memorable. I'll start with mine :shifty: -
Ed Wood
A trick-or-treater is at the door, and Bela Lugosi answers & tries to scare him.
Bela: What's the matter, little boy? Aren't you afraid?
Kid: I know those teeth are fake! They don't frighten me!!!
*Johnny Depp walks up behind Bela*
Johhny: *raises eyebrow* How About These? *pops his teeth out & sticks them in the kid's face*
Kid:  *screams & runs away*
Bela: HowJooDoThat?? (love how Martin Landau says this line)
Johnny: Dentures! Lost my Pearlies in the war! :D
The funniest scene from any movie I can think of, Depp plays the whole thing with dead-on facial expressions. The fact that he didn't win Best Actor for this movie is a travesty.
Perfect Blue
The scene where Mima murders the photographer that took the adult pictures of her. I could sit all day & have conversations about the inner workings of this movie, & this particular scene is just so goddamn intense that sometimes I forget it's animated. I had to watch this film about 10 times before I actually "got" it, but that part stuck with me in just how savage & violent it is. Animated Hitchcock.
Back to the Future
From when Marty leaves the dance, to when he goes back to 1985. Probably my #1 favorite from any movie. Anybody who's a filmmaker, or taking a class, THIS is how you play out a scene with urgency. The most perfectly-paced 10 minutes of celluoid ever made. The way the events play out, & Alan Silvestri's composition of the movie's main theme here is absolute perfection. Everytime I see it I LOL at the part when Marty hits his head on the steering wheel & the car starts.
Tell me what yours are now. GO.
