D H Smith debuted interfering in Tyson Kidd v Finlay. They hit the Hart Attack on Finlay after the DQ. Anybody else mark the fuck out?

I shall tomorrow when I watch it. :y:
So, is the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship still interpromotional? Or are they just going to be an alliance that helps the other guys out. It's a shame they're not on a show with Tag Titles, and a ladies' title for Natalya to win.
I wonder if Finlay is going to bring up Sheamus O'Shaunnessy under some other name to be his tag team partner to battle them?
I was just gonna make a thread about it.
It was pretty awesome.

Why change his name?
Because the WWE loves giving guys names that they can "own." Unless the WWE already owns Sheamus' name. Not too sure, and can't be fucked researching. I can see them just calling him "SOS" or something. Or they'll just change his last name to "Finnegan."

Dave Hart-Smith....love it. Also, he doesn't look goofy anymore.

I'm not impressed.
Here you have this green kid who has about as much drawing power as CAWdy who did something on ECW. He can be the king of No One Gives A Damn castle and I'd still be "m'eh" oh DH Smith.

It was his fucking debut, he is a rising star.
You are a proper idiot. How else do you debut someone to have a relevant role? He is on ECW at that, the brand for building new stars..
CAWdy - not funny.
You - not clever.
LOL WWE has things so ass backwards
Why are they trying to get this over on ECW? Seriously? No one is even watching ECW. Its like they put them out there to fail or something. It's like they're using ECW as a house show. This might have been big if it was someone other then Finlay and it was on Raw or Smackdown. But its on ECW. No one gives a shit. If these guys go to Raw or Smackdown, no one will remember last night at all. It makes no sense at all unless they just dont care and want them to flop. Thats the only sense it could possibly make.
Its hilarious how much of a joke WWE has become. TNA is no better ofcourse, but I expect better from WWE. They cant even properly book there product, reguardless of if its horrible or not. Essentially it really doesnt matter what kind of talent a wrestler/entertainer has. They could be the worst ever and it would'nt matter, because WWE will book them in a position that is 100% fail. They could be amazing talent, but they'll be booked as 100% fail. It doesnt matter.
Sadly this is what happens when people who run a product or industry lose touch with reality and have no clue what the fuck they are doing. You see this junk.

WHAT?
Surely you are kidding right? ECW has created more stars than any other brand recently, it’s the perfect place to bring in a guy to test the waters, if they epically fail, it’s better it’s on ECW rather than Raw surely? The fact that it generates lower ratings means they can take more risks with it. It makes perfect sense to have this debut on ECW, they will be allowed more time to develop, if this was on Raw they’d have 2 weeks to get over and then disappear off the face of the earth, on ECW, they could easily survive for 2 months on a slow build and establish themselves.

Haha. The Karate Kid....sweep the leg! God, I love the 80's.
Anyhow, I am a huge mark for the Harts, including the British Bulldog. Harry looks a lot like his old man. His physique and his style are very similar to his Dad's. Good for him. His Pop would have been proud. I may just have to start watching wrestling again for Smith alone.

I think it it shit, because there isnt a single Hart in the group.
I know Natties Mom and Davies Mom were Harts, but in name they just dont have the power to be the focal point of a Hart Re-boot. TJ has no blood ties either.
I know they fit, but to a normal fan without deep knowledge, it makes no sense.
So does the WWE want me to forget that Cena pwned Smith?

My god, I'm sorry, I'm not trying to offend you fellas.....but that commentary was just plain horrible. :n: Good wrestling, and great Finley put Smith over, but the commentary was crap! I can't believe Josh from Tough Enough is still around.
They needed to act more distrubed and shocked by the whole thing, really sell the audience and put Smith over as a threat. Those guys sounded WAY too relaxed, and came across like they didn't give a shit.
lol when they set up the Hart Attack.

I like the potential of this new group.
Also, if nobody answered this, they said on Raw that the Unified Tag Titles can be defended on any show. Once Carlito and Primo lose those titles, they become exclusive property of Raw.

I don't want to say anything about what kind of chemistry the team has before I see them in an actual match, but I do wonder how far they will go with the current state of the tag division. Are we going to see some thrown together teams?

They're a good team. I watched them when they were in FCW and they had some really good matches with some good psychology. The match where they lost the belts to Tyler Reks and Johnny Curtis was excellent.

Since an actual Hart hasn't been in the "WWE Universe" spotlight in over a decade, that's to be expected.
They did look good, hopefully they get the Miz/Morrison treatment and get to expose themselves in all three brands.
I know they fit, but to a normal fan without deep knowledge, it makes no sense.
I don't get this.
A normal fan without deep knowledge? Are we talking a mark? If we are then I don't see a problem. If the WWE debuted a guy, called him Tim Savage and billed him as Macho Man's son, then marks would just take it as fact that he is what they say.
So, regardless of direct bloodlines or whatever you're getting at, if the 'E says they are Harts, then, for a "normal fan without deep knowledge", they are Harts.
I love how this is a great WWE idea all of a sudden. This team was ready to be called up over 3 years ago!

TBK and his partner, Colons, Simply Priceless, and Cryme Time (If they count). Truthfully, I am suprised Simply Priceless has not been in the hunt for the titles. Since that is what being in Legacy was suppose to be about in the beginning.

Didn't he already have a WWE debut? Is he that unnoticeable and forgettable that you've forgotten that he already had a debut?
And please, none of this "Well it was his first match on so and such brand" because it's all the same company.

lol, are you seriously gonna consider the other "debut" a fucking debut worth looking back on? He hit the ring amid 20 other guys. All the other times they decided to punish him for going against their fucking policy on drugs.
To use that for any sort of basis to be nagative on the guy is just showing your tre intentions and biased opinion, which in the end becomes null and void.

<font color=goldenrod>Nah, his first official debut was on Raw in 2007...pretty sure they debuted him in the UK so he could get the "Davey Boy Smith's son" pop. He won a few matches, got suspended, then lost a shitload and they did nothing with him.
Then he got drafted to SmackDown where he remained until this year's draft, he never even made his SmackDown debut. :o Last night was his first television appearance since his last time on Raw.</font>

Wait, what? He had his TV (Raw) debut vs Carlito. He got busted for drugs, came back for a "second debut" where he beat Hass (on Heat), and to be honest the guy is so unremarkable that I don't know what you're talking about with him in the ring with 20 other guys.
Calling his bit on ECW a "debut" is a joke, and I just don't care for the guy.

Everyone when they start out has room to improve. It's not like I'm saying DH will never be somebody, or fire him right now to save us some time.
And please stop with the "but he's new" line. There have been people who caught my eye who I liked right off the bat. Mr Kennedy, Carlito, Nitro, Goldust, Matt Striker, John Cena, and others over the years.
However we're so far off topic it's not funny. All I simply said to start out in this thread is that was not his debut, and I don't care for the guy. Give it a rest.

well if the technicalities of a few anonamous matches over a year ago are that important to you being right, then fine.
Fact is, it's a new role, leading into a storyline and that is a debut. One much like you discribed in the name of past eye grabbers.
And Kennedy and Cena both worked TV matches before they 'debuted'
