Did he stun him with a punch first? It's hard to see.

Vitor Belfort KO'd Matt Lindland in 7 seconds.

Nobody called Lindland a bum.

I'm not saying Lindland and Cook are in the same league but the guy ain't a bum for losing quick.

Vitor also knocked out Wand in about 40 seconds..i would exactly call Wand a bum either. Also not putting Cook in Silva league..just sayin

Cant really tell from that vid but it did look like Bobby caught him with that big right and rocked him.

Even if the guy is a can thats what good fighters do, domitante them. So either way pretty impressive win for Bobby.

No hesitation from lashley, he knew how to end it an did, good on him.

Hes not getting paid by the hour and if he can end it quick why not, reduces risk to his body. I guess the only downside is not knowing if he can go the distance. But surely sooner or later someone will take him a few rounds.

He went 3 rounds in his last fight.

The story is that Cook walked to the ring and mocked him with a Luche Libre mask and Lashley was pissed.

And oh yah, i'll say it. Cook is a bum.

He might very well be. But he isn't a bum for losing quick.

I wouldn't even call that a guillotine. I'd just call it a front facelock or a front chancellory (sp?).

When you talk shit, be able to back it up.

Oh really? I havent seen that.

I saw his first fight where the guy got cut and it finished early (that was Lashley right???) and this one. I didnt realise he had fought three times.

I dont Follow MMA that closely but isnt he getting through these fights kind of quick? I thought it was like boxing a month or two at least between fights.

there should be a thread for his fight with Jason Guida (the three rounder with the non-warrior of the Guida family) on here.

At this point in Lashley's career, he needs fights under his belt and the quicker they go, the more he needs. He needs as much experience as he can get since he is already 32 years old. I say 2 more fights and he ends up in the UFC.

Thats understandable, but you wouldnt want to let the guy ooff the hook early to finish him later would you?

Pretty dangerous game to play.

I also didnt realise he was in his 30s. Lashley kinda has me intrigued with this whole MMA thing.

Hell no don't let anyone off the hook ever! If you finish someone in 30 seconds then you can gain more experience in the next fight.

What do you reckon the Sapp vs. Lashley fight will be like?

I have seen Sapp a few times and he seems to come out big then turns into a joke. That was a year or two back, is he any better now?

Or do you reckon lashley will school him if he survives for the first round?

Rob

I think Lashley will kill Sapp if he survives the first minute!
