Masato Tanaka moves on to the second round after defeating Mike Awesome, but does he have the X-factor to beat the 123 kid?

Should be fun.

Mr. Waltman had to enter the contest eventually. I'm suprised he hasn't.

It will be interesting to see if anyone actually votes for X-Pac, 10-0 so far

Come on, couldn't you have given X-Pac a better opponent, say Hornswoggle?

Masato by a mile.

Waltman has held more prestigious titles there I said it.

Some people have got to be voting against X-Pac here and not specifically for Tanaka

I haven't seen enough of Tanaka outside of ECW to come close to voting for him. I think people forget just how good Waltman was at one point/when he wanted to be

Waltman was quite good at several points in his career. I think the days of X-Factor and Xpac heat have clouded minds.
I'm not insinuating he should be Tanaka, but he deserves more credit.

Sean was a phenomenal talent when he wasn't busy being a lazy fuck. That being said, I absolutely adore Tanaka's work.

Tanaka never stopped being good. X-Pac stopped being good during heel DX, and even at the top of his game wasn't up to Tanaka's level (maybe the very top of his game during his 1-2-3 Kid run and into his WCW days, that might be generous).

I gotta say that he still put on very good matches during his "X-Factor" days. X-Pac is disliked due to his being overly presumptuous as well as a dick. When he was Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight champion at once (InVasion period) he put on a good match or two.

He's most definitely better than Tanaka.

I never hated X-Pac. It was just something I came along too late for. But while the guy can be good, a lot of the time he can be really "meh." Masato Tanaka is just better.

I voted X-Pac...he gets a lot of shit...some of it unwarranted. I voted for him mostly because of his DX run. I was a huge mark for DX back in 98.

Even the greatest Waltman fan should be able to tell that Tanaka was better.

Haven't seen much of Tanaka's work except for a couple of fights with Mike Awesome in ECW so X-Pac by default for me.

I will vote for PAC. He had solid matches, and I reMember more of him than Tanaka

I have no real hate for waltman in the ring. He is very good on his day, but Tanaka makes everything he does look brutal, and he has had more (hate to use the term) five star matches for sure.

I've seen like 1 match of that Japanese guy. I hate Japanese wrestling and in turn, I am not a fan of Japanese wrestlers.

I've seen about 200 matches with X-pac and he's entertained me much more then that jobber.

so yea
