I like Rampage and always have, he's just a very solid fighter and def one of the best in the world.

However his fights are nowhere near as entertaining as they were in PRIDE, he used to slam people the fuck out in PRIDE now he doesn't do any of that fun stuff.

Now I realize he's fighting to win and his tight boxing style is very efficient and I especially enjoyed watching him kfto Wanderlai... but I dunno, there's something missing from his fights. He doesn't have that crazy wreckless style that made me a fan.

It'd probably cause him to lose I guess... but whatever I guess I'm selfish.

Anyone else notice this?

He's had 5 UFC fights, 3 of which have ended in (T)KO and two of which have gone to Decision (Both of which were pretty entertaining)...and besides which, other than Eastman his opponents have been top level guys, unlike alot of his Pride opponents. So I guess it's alot harder to get in there and do those "thangs" to guys like this (also don't forget that two of his fights ended in the first round, the eastman fight he seemed to just be adjusting to the cage, the Hendo fight he was facing a guy who is possibly a better wrestler than him, and the Forrest fight he did attempt a slam or two but had a fucked leg)...that went alot longer than I though it would =\

Yeah all valid points. As I said he is just fighting more efficiently and I guess is more of a killer. I just miss those slams so much :(

They should give him a can at one point just for him to slam around. hahahaha

Don't worry after Machida beats him he'll probably get a slightly easier opponent to give him a "warm up" so to speak and you might get to see some destruction there...maybe

I dunno I don't think he'd mind if Rampage powerbombed someone through the mat.

Do I really need to explain to you why he isn't "crazy and wreckless" anymore?
