- As you may have read in a report by WrestleView's own Scott Williams on Monday (CLICK HERE), an incident took place this past Sunday at a WWE SmackDown brand House Show in Tampa, Florida involving Eddie Guerrero and a very disrespectful fan.
Reports from the show stated that at the conclusion of the main event, Eddie Guerrero (a resident of Tampa) brought his daughters into the ring and danced with him. At this point, a fan threw a beverage into the ring, nearly hitting one of Guerrero's daughters. Guerrero, who obviously had the right to be angry, made a comment on the mic about the lack of class the fan displayed. Security went after the fan and Guerrero left to the back with his daughters.
Once the crowd in the arena began to leave, Guerrero came back out with Dean Malenko to speak with the man once he was detained by police officers. Despite previous reports, Guerrero was not returning for a physical confrontation. Once Guerrero got near the man and police brought him ringside, he told him he had no class for doing what he did. The man, instead of apologizing, threw his hat at Guerrero and dropped an F bomb towards him. At this point, Guerrero jumped over the railing and approached the man, but police and a few fans separated between them. Guerrero yelled back at the man, but didn't attack him at all. As both were exchanging insults, a fan decided to get involved and he slugged the man.
When it was all said and done, the man was arrested for disorderly behavior and the fan who hit him was put into cuffs, but later let go by police. Many fans were cheering the person who slugged the man who got into the altercation with Guerrero for doing what he did as others wanted to do the same.
