Ok, Picasa has an option that is supposed to allow you to embed a hosted image, but not show the link to anyone who sees the pictures or tries to click on it.

I've followed how to do it and can't get it to work...

So, is there a way to do this with images hosted on photo bucket? I can embed them, but I don't want people to be able to see the link of where it's hosted and/or be able to click on it.

thanks in advance.

Nope, not really.

If you post an image, browsers will always allow you to right click the image and see its address.

actually... got it to work like an hour ago...

Picasa (googles photo album) gives an option for an embed link that hides the address... I just kept doing the html wrong on the post...

but works great now.

What about the sites where if you right click it, you get a custom message?

advertising or other web-design or blog posting stuff where you want people to see the jpg but not be able to get back to the whole photo album or hosting area.
