recently it has been a lot of grizzly bear, caspian, eisley, and armor for sleep. and george carlin thrown in when i'm trying to sleep. i've been attempting to play songs by the lawrence arms, alkaline trio, motorhead, dead kennedys, incubus, cake, and some others. so i guess that covers most of it. i haven't had time to check out much new music lately, which is kind of disappointing.

yeah i checked out the sonic youth album. my problem is that a lot of their newer stuff has just melted into one homogenous sound that i have a hard time getting into. a couple of standout tracks here and there over last few albums, but nothing that makes me all giddy inside.
