on WiiWare.

Seems kinda "forced." Pretty easy so far. Has a Final Fantasy Mystic Quest feel to it. It's kinda awkward. They start you off with the option to do a tutorial and you can tell it's for beginners. I leveled up in the first four fights I was in so I dunno what that's about. Now that I think about it I didn't get hit at all in the first dungeon until the boss. I guess it got a little tough after that, but maybe that is because I stripped Biggs and Wedge of all of their weapons and armor. lol

It's kinda cool that there is a sequel to Final Fantasy IV but so far it's your classic "My father is the king and everyone thinks I'm spoiled blah blah blah" kinda story. Sort of like Claude's backstory in Star Ocean: The Second Story. But it's cool that the music and stuff returns and some of the characters return too.

I've slacked real bad in keeping up with WiiWare releases. I haven't heard of this, but from your description it's not merely FFIV re-released on Wii. This is a stand-alone game? Based in FFIV's universe? Sounds enticing, even if your description makes it sound ridic easy. FFIV itself was released in North America as FF2, but the difficulty was toned way down...

Yeah you're Cecil's son in sort of the same position as Cecil was at the beginning of IV. I just found out though that they only released the first chapter and you have to buy the other ones?

That seems decent enough. I dunno about this chapter business... I'll have to actually log onto the Wii Shop tomorrow and look around. Haven't been on there since I downloaded Ninja Gaiden for VC like a year ago.

Got FF IV for GBA, but havn't played it yet. Really enjoyed the first ff, but leveling up in the second is gay. Might quit, and go to IV.

Yes. The re-release on GBA a few years back is the same, I berieve. I think the only way to play the original harder version is through a translated ROM. Could be mistaken though.
