So it's been a while since Ive done one and with his recient return and now departure from the "beautiful people" what do you think about Kip James? Is he worth keeping around as an in ring compeditor? The one thing that I've always seen is that he cant really cut a single promo in TNA. "I'm Kip James Bitch", or more reciently "That's Kipping it real" come on now. He was always a great part of such memorable teams like the Smoking Gunns, NOA (James Gang and VKM), Billy & Chuck, and I even liked some of his singles work as "The One" Billy Gunn in WWE. For someone as big as he is, he is still very agile for his size. I actually wouldnt mind seeing him as a manger/ wrestler kinda like how Honky Tonk Man was gonna be to him. Maybe team him with a young no name guy (I know it did wonders for him as Rockabilly but still...) as a mentor whos not afraid to jump in and do the "One and only" or a "Fame ass er" when the refs back is turned? So what do you think is Kip james worth keeping around as a active wrestler and/ or manager or should they just let him fade to the backstage like B G James? Or maybe did you think he was just in the right place in the right time in DX and just rode on the success of that for way too long and needs to be gotten rid of ASAP?

Hmmmm... I'm a secret Billy Gunn fan, but he's well past it.

I am also a Billy Gunn fan. I don't know what it was about the guy, but when I first started watching the WWE, I just really liked the guy. JR also used to put him over pretty fucking hard. That being said, I have not liked him anywhere else but the WWE. It's not that he doesn't play his role well in TNA -- he does. His promos have been tolerable; it just doesn't work.

I don't even know what Kip James could offer TNA as a road agent. He might be one of those guys that they are better off just releasing. The same goes with BG James, though. Maybe then the WWE could pick them up and give them one more nostalgic run as the New Age Outlaws before they disappear forever.

Go back to a Mr. Ass persona or something...I think that's when he was at his best.

BJ james is still on the roster for tna, maybe they could start up the new age outlaws (obviously with another tag team name)

there are a lot of useless people in tna at the moment

rob terry
the security
sharmell
scot steiner

Apparently the creative team were asking themselves the same question not too long ago and elected to keep him on. I personally do not mind having him on the show. His attitude is actually entertaining, but, as I'm sure most of you will agree, it has been misused a little bit. It would be cool if they made him into a serious character now, kind of like what they are doing with Eric Young.

I used to think that James could have been WWE Champ at one point. Now, I can't even see him as TNA Legends Champ.

I will admit to loving him in DX and Billy and Chuck though.

I actually didn't see him in DX. I was a fan of his "The One" Billy Gunn run and tag team with Chuck Palumbo. The face turn ruined them, though. If TNA signed Chuck Palumbo, I actually think that is a tag team I could tolerate seeing Kip James being a part of.

Cute Kip and Tough Chuck.
