Mr. Gump has seemingly done it all, and is now on the verge of entering the Hall of Fame. As our first 3 match winner, Forrest Gump is only 2 victories away from becoming the very first TPWW Movie Hall of Fame inductee.

But now shit gets serious. REAL SERIOUS. No time for no clever write up

Gonna have to go with Indy. Love them both for much different reasons, but Raiders is THE action-adventure movie that defined the genre. Both films have found their way into parody, which is either a sign of great success or great failure. I could sit here and list every reason why I like Indy and every reason why I like Forrest, but I'll just leave it at I prefer Raiders.

I have never seen a single Indiana Jones flick, so I feel as though I should not vote. :-\

"Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?"

Supreme has enticed me to come and vote and what a time to join.

My ABSOLUTE favourite movie of all-time. Non-stop action, FANTASTIC sound (for the time), John Williams music, great cinematography, classic Saturday-Afternoon-Adventure-Cliff Hanger-Edge-Of-Your-Seat storyline, awesome stunts, right amount of comedy, Spielberg direction, tremendous casting....

Raiders all the way. Forrest is undoubtedly a refined, amazing piece of cinema, but Raiders is, as Theddy said, genre-defining. All other action-adventure movies operate in Raiders' shadow. It's well cast, well written, well shot, well presented and just plain fun.

I like Last Crusade more, but I still voted for Raiders.

Hmmm. Raiders is pretty amazing, and may be better from a mindless entertainment standpoint...

However, Gump is just so damn good that it gets my vote.

Raiders of the Lost Ark. No apprehension on my part.

Forrest Gump is a great film, and a touching drama. Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of the best action and/or adventure movies ever.
It's truly one of a kind. (the series that is, since the sequels are obviously more or less "of the kind")

Ill take Raiders. It set the standard for all action/adventure movies and it turned Harrison Ford into a legitimate leading man.
