Not very detailed. I'll post a better one when I find it.

Yeah needs more detail, as an aside;

Dark Match: CM Punk and Jeff Hardy def. Edge and Chris Jericho in a Steel Cage Match. CM Punk and Jeff Hardy posed together afterward. After the match, a fan threw a soda at Jericho. Edge cut a promo on the fan calling him a tool and said that if the fan was a tool then the arena must be a tool shed.

I love Edge!

I'm sure the match was fantastic, so don't get me wrong, but I'm sort of annoyed that CM Punk was in the opening match of the show. They also did Champion vs. Champion last week, so I don't think it was necessary again this week.

Dolph Ziggler is looking so good in his stuff with The Great Khali. Him defeating Khali in any way shape or form possible is going to make him look credible to crowds. Khali is massive, and a former World Heavyweight Champion. I'm glad that Khali is putting over a star for the future.

The women's stuff could be either passable or missable. Michelle McCool and Melina are up to standard, and Layla is improving, while Eve is still very green. At least they are building McCool up as a threat. I mean, it's a story.

John Morrison teaming up with R-Truth interests me. Mainly because I want Truth to succeed, even if I haven't decided to really get behind him yet. I want to like him. Teaming with Morrison will get him a bit closer to that goal. Four good in-ring talents means this match will probably be really good. Starship Pain has better of ended this. That move is money. Has to win the Slammy for Best Finisher this year.

Edge and Jeff Hardy will have a really good match. The ending makes sense, moves things a long, and is classic storytelling. Punk is pissed at Edge, but that makes Hardy even more pissed at Punk. This is all building towards a Triple Threat. It's this that meant that Punk and Jericho couldn't have closed the show, but meh. I just hope the WWE doesn't get into the routine of booking Punk in opening matches when he is fucking carrying the World Title.

Some more detail, from Gerweck.net with a different match order!

CM Punk came out for a promo and received a mixed reaction from the crowd. He said he capitalized on the opportunity instead of "stealing" it. He was a babyface throughout the promo and said he'll bring honor, integrity, and respect back to the title.

Jeff Hardy came out and said Punk didn't "earn" it. Punk said Hardy needs to understand his situation. Hardy says he's selfish. Hardy added that he wants his rematch tonight. Edge came out and said he wants a rematch. He said Punk wants to be him. Hardy attacked Edge and Punk. Hardy hit the Swanton on Punk while Edge fell outside.

Teddy Long came out and announced that Edge would face Hardy in the Smackdown main event, and the winner would challenge Punk on Monday's WWE Raw three-for-all show. Teddy and Chris Jericho talked backstage. Jericho said he wants in the world title hunt. Teddy said okay, but said he would be facing Punk in a non-title match later in the show.

1.Dolph Ziggler def The Great Khali by CO

2.Michelle McCool & Layla def Melina & Eve

3.John Morrison & R-Truth def WGTT

4.CM Punk def Chris Jericho

Punk is face, pandering to the crowd, got a few boos but eventually everyone cheerin for him.

5. Ricky Ortiz def. Jimmy Wang Yang.

6.Edge def. Jeff Hardy by DQ when Punk ran in and attacked Edge. Punk posed with the title afterwards

So, no Rey this week? Interesting...

No Rey, let's all pray that he is going to get the suspension...I hate Mysterio

I'm sure they're just building suspense for Rey's return. What's remarkable is that SmackDown! has got more top talent than what it actually utilises. Rey Mysterio, The Undertaker and Kane are all big stars (although to varying degrees of the term), but Rey got a break at these tapings, and Taker and Kane haven't been on the show in quite a while.

Also, it sounds more like they're thinking about turning Jeff Hardy heel, more than anything. Doesn't mean they won't turn Punk. They could lead us to believe Hardy is turning, before Punk pulls the rug out from us and yells "SURPRISE! I am an asshole!"

Wouldn't mind maybe seeing Bros. of Destruction win the Unified WWE Tag Titles. It would give Kane and Taker something to do instead of ill-conceived singles feuds.

Turning Jeff heel would probably fail miserably...Matt's barely getting by as a heel and he's got better mic skills. Then again, it's not like WWE would care if Jeff's not re-signing, anyway.

I think it looks like a Punk turn will be more of a slow burn, at least until the company knows what the future holds with Hardy. If Hardy stays, you eventually have Punk snap on Hardy and go full-fledged heel, doing the easy Straight Edge vs. Drug Addict storyline. If Hardy leaves, keeping Punk as a bit of a tweener pays off because they can keep Edge heel and have the two feud.

I'm also excited to see that Jericho could be back in the World title hunt down the line...they have a great storyline possibility there with Jericho being the one that replaced Punk in the scramble match that resulted in Punk losing the title the first time around. I'm still disappointed that Punk never really got the chance to go up against Orton, but the quality should be better if he's going against Jericho.

On a side note, there's supposed to be a Morrison/Jericho match on Superstars this week that's really good. Jericho himself was bragging the match up on Twitter out of character.

John Morrison is a future mega-star. He's got the looks, he's got the talent, he's got the youth and he's got the charisma. He's also got the resume building to make sure he doesn't seem pushed too hard or too fast. The dude also works as a face or a heel really well. It's so easy to like a guy that awesome, but his natural character lends itself to heel heat. Reminds me of The Rock. I'm not saying Morrison is the next Rock, far from it, but just the natural positioning of the characters seems to align.

When I say mega-star, I mean the WWE will probably fuck him up, by the way. :shifty:

I think Morrison's chances are being helped by JR constantly referring to him as a "future main eventer" and the "breakout superstar of the year"...it's pretty clear that the WWE really wants him to get over. If Mysterio's out of the picture for a little while, I could see a Jericho/Morrison program over the IC title, which would be incredible. I really liked their match on Superstars...it had a lot of unique spots and they really seemed to click.

I can't wait to see this match, as it is so chocked with potential. I will jizz my pants if we can see this feud.

Some thoughts after watching SmackDown! yesterday:

* CM Punk is a really good performer. He's still finding his WWE persona on the mic, but his reactions to others are great. He's going to get there if Michael Hayes keeps giving him the time to develop, and treats him like a star.

* Edge was really funny. "Straight Edge...hello!"

* I'm loving Jim Ross on commentary. He's nowhere near mastered his new approach yet, but his heelish tones are making him at least relevant again. I almost marked out when he bluntly said "I like this guy" in regards to Dolph Ziggler.

* It seems Ziggler has stolen what was going to be The Brian Kendrick's SmackDown! push. He's getting flashier attire, new ring jackets and is looking like a competent competitor who can go toe-to-toe with the best in the WWE at any time. I hope for big things from him, eventually.

* Maybe it was because I had been drinking, but the Divas shit was really hot. The match wasn't too bad, and Layla, Melina and Eve are all really yummy. It's not offensive, and it's leading towards what could be a good match between Melina and Michelle McCool. The booking also pointed out that Alicia Fox could be the difference-maker, which is good for the story.

* I really like Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin & John Morrison. This "thorn in their side" gimmick with Morrison is leading to fun matches, but I think Haas & Benjamin need to win sometime, too. R-Truth is winning me over. Give him time, and he might do something really good.

* During the CM Punk/Chris Jericho match, all I could think was that I wouldn't mind it if CM Punk won the Intercontinental Title from Chris Jericho. The Mysterio/Jericho feud really doesn't need it, and Punk as a double-champion is a great way to add extra credibility to the guy, which is what he needs with the fans being unsure about him. Then Punk can drop the title off to Dolph Ziggler after Edge or Jeff Hardy costs him the match.

* The main event was a good match, but it's gotten to the stage where I've seen Edge vs. Jeff Hardy so many times that I'm glad CM Punk is in there to shake things up now.

Edge was gold on the mic. I did like how CM Punk talked about how he didn't care if the fans liked what he did at Extreme Rules, and he didn't care if Hardy liked it. He picked his spot and became 2-time champion.

It was something fresh instead of Edge vs Hardy part 16. I mean don't get me wrong, I like watching the two go at it, but jeez lets do something new and get someone else involved. Maybe even Morrison could restart his and Punk's rivalry from ECW.

In one show Punk looked more Legit than he did in his entire first run with the title. JR was also awesome on commentary for this.

Yeah, Jim Ross can really help save Punk from the booth. I'm glad he's doing it. He's going to make marks feel stupid for not liking him.

Punk made some really good points regarding cashing in his title shot. Punk not wanting to compromise himself to do what the fans say is right is an excellent approach for his character. I think it will pay-off long term.
