Yay or nay? Something simple like a 1 to 2. Nothing extreme like a 1 to 4 (which I know would need to be powered).

They're not going anywhere, why bother now when you don't have a need for it.

That's not what I am asking. Will there be any kind of signal loss for splitting it without using power.

And yes, there will be a loss of quality, but you probably won't notice unless you have microscopic vision.
