i saw the digital remastering of goldfinger at the cinema. it was excellent and when the db5 came on screen everyone sort of took a sharp intake of breath in awe :'(

Gotta go with Goldfinger, if only because no other Bond movie ran through the checklist of Bond-movie staples quite as well. Slow-moving death trap/torture device? Check! Invincible henchman with a gimmicky weapon? Check! Love interest with a thoroughly ridiculous name? Check! And it's got Connery at his absolute Connery-est.
