You can have a friendslist on Silver. You can do everything but play multiplayer on Live (or get demos). I didn't even have a 360 when I made my GT and had some friends on there.

Yeah, the save points are one of the "big deals" in that game that they are trying to improve upon with Dead Rising 2...
