AIM / Dead AIM Issue

Because AIM 5.5 isn't good, I continue to use AIM 5.2, in addition to DEAD AIM (not sure which version, but I downloaded it in August of 2003, if that means anything). All is fine til I notice, I am missing a few buttons. The buttons for "IM," "Chat," "Write," "Info," and "Setup" are missing. I uninstall AIM all together, and then reinstall my AIM 5.2. I sign on and Dead AIM is gone and that missing toolbar is back. So I reinstall Dead AIM and it's gone again.

Any idea why that is happening. I have to assume is a problem with Dead AIM, but I dont know why. I ran spybot and ad-aware and that didnt solve anything. IF there is a new version of Dead AIM that may solve my problem, how can I get it?

My AIM > Edit DeadAIM Options > Hide List Buttons

Uncheck that.</font>

Yeah what asphyXy said. There is an option to get rid of the buttons in DeadAIM.
