View Full Version : This is why I was not a fan of WCW or TNA (TNA's ppv spoilers)

You had the finger poke of doom, and Jeff Jarrett laying down.
You have Joe handing the title to Angle.
Anywhere in WWE, ECW, or RoH have you ever had someone hand over a world title (with the exception of The Million Dollar Man buying the title from Andre the Giant since the title was then vacated)? Maybe my memory isn't what is used to be, and maybe my trivia isn't that great, but that's a serious question.
Fuck the Q&A forum.

Yeah this is exactly the kind of shit that TNA does that makes it unbearable. BTW, I don't think I said it to you formally yet, but congrats on the big WWE.com win...don't go blowing all $200,000 on Blackman merch and a replica Hardcore belt now...:D
Or do, if you don't want to worry about whether or not his haunting picture's gaze will pierce your soul...:shifty:

It's fine if it's on tv, and serves a purpose in the story. But you don't do that on a PPV. Just a huge ripoff, and a slap in the face to all the fans. Garbage.

also, Shawn Micheals did in fact lay down for HHH in a match for the European Title. Shortly after Montreal.

I've no problem in principal with people sacrificing their World title or their best chance to win it, only if it is part of a bigger story in which the move and motivation is justified (and makes sense).
Which, knowing TNA, is far from the reality.

World Championships matter more than a lower midcard title. Also, that match built on the story of DX vs Slaughter, helped build the DX image, Triple H and Shawn Michaels' character, and on top of it all...it wasn't on PPV. Triple H cared greatly about the European Championship and defended it with great vigor, but HBK was the WWF Champ so he "in-character" has no reason to care about the European Title and the chance to give it to his stablemate and get back at the authority of Slaughter all made sense.

I know this. My question was about world titles.

I think it makes sense story wise, Joe knows he can't fight the MEM so he'll join them.

Mannnn that was an awesome match though. They got in that epic lock up and Hunter like pushed HBK and he like fell down and it was AWESOME! Then HHH bounced off the ropes, then bounced off the ropes again and did this picture perfect Warrior Splash.
Shawn took a beating in that match :P

Kurt Angle has not right being a champion at all. I recall hearing him in a radio interview saying he likes to put over the younger guys like AJ and Joe. Which I guess that is fucking bullshit.
His beard is fucking stupid......

Seeing as how he was the #1 Contender for Brock's WWE Championship at the time Brock signed exclusively with SmackDown!, it only made sense for a heelish Eric Bischoff who fought so hard to sign Triple H to RAW, to make Triple H RAW's first World Heavyweight Champion!
