Fuck yes. Love the first one so much. Only complaint was that the pacing in later levels kinda sucked. Too much forced combat, and slow movement.

I think the speed was deliberate.

What I really wanted was multiplayer. I already mentioned long ago that CTF would own with this engine, especially if you could toss the flag (package?). And I think they should eliminate guns altogether and spice up the combat engine. I'm sure we can get some cool moves out of the controls.

Didn't care for the first one.

No surprise to me, I could've sworn I read it was going to be a trilogy. Loved the first.

Yeah, they mentioned it was a trilogy when the first one came out. Still awesome though.

I enjoyed the first one, wouldn't say I loved it though, time trials were a pain in the arse. It was nice to play something different for a change and will probably pick up the next two.

A dude bought Mirror's Edge on the PS3 the other day, and proceeded to ask me when it was coming out in 3D.

And it made my head hurt.

They WANTED to make a trilogy, but there was no garauntee that was going to happen, especially with all the mixed reviews.

I loved the first game but was very disapointed with the DLC that was released...I had a hard time seeing anything. Even though the levels looked kinda cool it made me believe I wasted some points and I was quickly wanting rooftops to jump on again.

The last few moments of the game seemed to drag and the end of the final stage was a huge letdown for me. I enjoyed alot of the game and hope that the next game has more fast paced action seen in the earlier levels that just make you wanna nail move after move.

I like the game, but jumping to pipes is frustrating.

Dunno, never had problems with that. But you saw a lot of that in the first one. The original's critics had problems with stuff that the fans didn't. Not because they were better, it's just some people aren't good at this type of stuff due to their perception.

The thing that really gets me is that I'll jump into a pipe and I'll hit it and stop and fall. Like if I were gonna jump and grab a pie in real life and I miscalculated and jumped 6 inches to the left, I'm sure I'd still have the wherewithal to stick my arms out and grab the slightly off centre pipe.
