i mean there are some great indie promotions out there
chikara for example, its a fucking great promotion, the characters are funny and they have some fantastic lucha style matches, it has the potential to be a really big promotion.
what indie promotions do you watch?

Does ROH even count as indie still? I dunno, but it's still indie to me, dammit.

There's probably a reason we don't talk alot of indy wrestling.
ROH is easily ECW level at this point. Arguably higher in terms of exposure.
Not indie, but far from mainstream.
There's probably a reason we don't talk alot of indy wrestling.
Keep drinking that kool-aid

Everyone who doesn't like what I like is either brainwashed or is drinking kool-aid supplied by "the man".

We probably don't talk about Indy wrestling so much because it's not nearly as easily accessible as WWE.
... Just my guess...

If it becomes a "really big promotion", wouldn't it no longer be indie? That's what I don't get about indie anything, like "ooh yeah we're so much better because we're not mainstream, but we're trying to get up to that point!" I don't know.

Yeah, but last I heard (and correct me if I'm wrong), Randy Orton was still WWE Champion.:shifty: And also signed to WWE.

i totally disagree with this, the reason that alot of them arn't in the wwe already is because they probably arn't marketable or some shitty reason like that.
also i know its debatable but i consider ROH indy i also concider it the best wrestling promotion in the u.s at least
prove me wrong ..

Being "marketable or some shitty reason like that" is probably more important than any actual wrestling ability, in terms of being successful in this day and age. *cough* Shelton Benjamin *cough*
