so another NWA Fanfest is coming up in Charlotte in about a month or so. I wasn't planning on going because this year, like the last couple of years, the talent appearing really didn't appeal to me/or I have already met them. A lot of the talent is from the 70's/early 80's NWA territory days and I was born after all that and grew up mostly on WWF. Guys like Ox Baker, Paul Jones, Ole Anderson, Oliver Humperdink, Harley Race are ALWAYS there every year. I went for the first time in 2005 mostly because Bret Hart was there and already met a lot of these guys.

Anyway, long story short, The original Four Horsemen are all going to be there plus Barry Windham. They are going to be taking group pictures with the fans for $103 a pop. To me that is exteme and I would never pay that, but to a lot of these poor souls (sorry, but it's true :( ) at Fanfest, they would fork that over in a heartbeat.

Do you guys think it's worth it? There's a bunch of Horsemen marks here, so I was wanting to see

I may still purchase the VIP pass for the 4 days and get autographs from all the guys, but we'll see.

Here's the link if anybody cares or lives near the area.

Photoshopping is cheaper.

Just my thoughts...considering you said the Four Horsemen will be there, if that includes every member, including Ric Flair, then yes, I think you definitely should go...how often do you get to see a 16-time world champion at events like these nowadays? My wager is on "not too fucking often."

I reckon LC would have already met him. Probably more than once too.

Yeah, just think about it, you could be a horseman.

As long as it's not Steve "Mongo" McNotAHorsemenInTheEyesOfRealWrestlingFans, or Paul Roma, then go for it.

$103? Where did they come up with that price?

I think the $3 is to pay Paul Roma to stay away.

What does that represent then, the cost of buying cheeseburgers to distract him with?

Seeing as they have not been together in over 20 years, and JJ and barry are there too, then it is worth it as an experience. its not about the picture, but how cool as a fan would it be to say you were with them all.

If your not a big horseman fan, its not worth it, but I would pay 100 bucks for a picture with Paul Oneil, Mo Rivera, Jeter and others from the World Series teams, so why not the 4 Horseman

I'd go. I mean, they're almost outliving the next gen horses (providing Saturn has evolved into a higher being that he was always destined for, only Malenko left), so you prob won't get another opportunity with them altogether.
