Quick question everyone.
My friend recently gave me his old logitect computer speaker system (1 sub-woofer and 4 speakers).
It has two connectors:
1. A headphone jack that is colored black
2. Another connector that is colored green
I assume these are both to be used for the computer or for anything that uses a headphone jack.
Question is this. Is it possible to use these speakers for my old 27 inch tv?
The tv does not have a headphone jack ( over 5 years old) but it has 2 RCA (Red, Yellow, White) connections on the back of the tv and 1 on the front.
If this is possible, I assume I need an adaptor of some sort. Anyone know which one i could use?
Thanks :)

Plug the green audio cable from the speaker into that. The TV needs a red/white OUT, not in, so make sure it says out.

Okay so i just checked the 3 red, white yellow (RCA) connectors the tv has:
The one in the front has a box beside it with an arrow pointing in (from left to right)
The one in the back has a box beside it with an arrow pointing in (from left to right)
The second one in the back has a box beside it with an arrow pointing out of it. I assume that this one is the audio out?
As well, when i do get everything setup... with the tv automatically recognize that the audio is now being outputted by the speakers or would I have to manually set that up myself? And the last stupid question of the day..... when everything is fine and setup... will I be able to control the volume via the TV remote or will I have to manually do it via the speakers?
Thanks for all the help once again!
Odds are, the one pointing out is out. Is it just a set of red/white hook ups, or is there a yellow one, too? Doesn't matter, but if it's just red/white then it's def an audio out.
Audio will automatically be played through it, however you won't be able to control the volume of the speakers unless they have their own volume control. The audio out is really meant for something like a receiver, which obviously controls itself. You'll have to turn the tv's volume all the way down.

Yeah when you go through audio out, it will still use TV speakers as well as ones hooked up. So like I had surround sound on my tv, but turn the tv volume to zero and then it just plays through my sexy speakers.

If you can, turn your speakers off on your TV. This way you can still use the TV's volume control to turn the volume up or down, but this way the audio only comes from your external speakers as your internal ones are turned off.
My TV has that option I don't know about yours.
