Anyone else here a fan of oldies music from the 50's and early 60's?

I started to really dig oldies stuff around the time I was like 12-13

Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bill Haley, Chubby Checker, Chuck Berry. Love that music. Oh, and a bit different genre but rules as well - Dean fuckin' Martin.

When I was growing up, we had the best Oldies station ever. Oldies 96 out of Saginaw played almost nothing but classic Motown and original rock 'n' roll. They were still good after they added the British Invasion and Surf Rock stuff, but I miss when they would play the kind of stuff already mentioned in this thread.

lol the only Sam Cooke I remember is 'Twistin the night away' off Innerspace lol classic film.

I had the WHOLE soundtrack to American Graffiti until some fuck stole all my CDs out of my car ;(

I got the soundtrack but I ain't selling it :D

Actually I looked and looked for it forever but one day I finally found it at a yard sale for like 3 bucks

Nope just the name of the last person who owned it

-I've bought several cd's used and I hate it when they write their names on the cd booklet

Cause then it does look I stold it

I simply am baffled as to how nobody has posted this yet, so here goes:

Now, it really is unfortunate that the BTTF scene videos depicting Marty McFly's rendition all had "Embedding disabled by request", because that is really an awesome scene from the series, but I would still encourage anyone who hasn't seen the part of BTTF where this scene takes place (the Enchantment Under The Sea dance for Marty's folks when they were kids).
