It's very early to tell, but it seems the WWE are building up John Morrison to enter the World Heavyweight Title scene, in case Jeff Hardy doesn't sign. For the sake of these half-hope/half-realistically expect predictions, I will assume that Jeffrey sees the dollar signs, and re-signs with the WWE.

Khali vs. Kane in and of itself would be fine I think, without needing any wild stipulations. Nobody liked the first (and so far, and hopefully only) ever Punjabi Prison match at GAB '06, and Khali didn't even compete as scheduled...I believe his replacement was Big Show, which made it even more awful...I say just let the two of 'em duke it out like they did at WrestleMania 23, but I'd give them at least another 5-10 minutes (that match at WM 23 only lasted 5:31 officially...)

There was a second Punjabi Prison match at No Mercy 2007. Batista v. Khali. The Punjabi Prison match is to Khali as the Inferno match is to Kane.

You forgot one thing...Kane knows how to make an Inferno match so it's not a total snoozefest. Khali couldn't interest me in his little Punjabi Playpen matches if he paid me a half million bucks just to stay awake through one and tell him who won. I mean I get what you're saying with the analysis, but it doesn't make Punjabi Prison matches any less boring...after all there's a reason they named it that...the first letters of each word tell you what you should do if you ever get caught in a situation where you may actually otherwise have to end up watching the match...

The best way to resolve the Kane/Khali feud would be to combine their specialty matches to create the Punjabi Inferno match. You must escape the two cages (which are on fire) and then set your opponent on fire. Who would do the job? That alone would be worth watching.
