Yeah, jobbing to Lawler with no build whatsoever. When does he get released?

If the WWE wanted him gone, I think he'd be gone by now. Still hopeful this is just the writing team trying to "teach Kendrick a lesson."

They've been at it for a while.

With Lawler running for mayor or whatever, this can be the start of Jerry's last run on WWE television for awhile. The optimistic side sees a push for Kendrick, my reality side says it's punishment for smoking too much weed.

Lawler is probably crooked enough to be a mayor.

I thought it was stupid for Kendrick to completely job out, but worse things have happened. He could still get a push, but it doesn't seem likely.

If he is still be punished for smoking weed this is ridiculous. Ya gotta love how the WWE makes examples lower and midcard guys, but wouldn't do anything if it were an HHH or an Orton. Hell WWE would probably go out of their way to hide it.

i was kidding about the tna thing now back to the instant classic
he's right wwe is so retarded in how they take care of these things. when the main eventers are in trouble they are "injured" the young guys get squashed and eventually get fired.

Why yes, because (insert random wrestler here) will help to build TNA to an epic platform.

But seriously, doc, THE CAKE IS A LIE!!!

Let's wait until next week until we pass judgement on this. TBK could assault the King and start something off

Cool King

He damn well better.

Though if he does and still jobs to Lawler in some form, I think I might just expload.

The Brian Kendrick should also run as Mayor of Memphis.

Thing is, if they wanted to completly bury him, they'd just take him off TV, no matter who he's working he makes them look amazing, he's a very good hand to have, RAW clearly was the worst move possible for him though. And yes he's probably being de-pushed right now, but I don't think he'll be released any time soon

lol. That could be amazing. Kendrick running attack ads, coming out to the ring every week and campaigning to the world why he, not Lawler, should be Mayor of Memphis. Sounds very Kaufman-like.

Hard for me to feel bad for the guy. I mean, I smoke weed too, but when it comes down to career vs. marijuana, career should always win.

They should have never taken Zeke away yet...they had major potential.

This is exactly my thinking. Kendrick was still featured in the RAW opening video, despite him being drafted over after his push had died. He's been used to put talent over, sure, but Santino had to beat him with a roll-up. Granted, Santino's not exactly credible, but he's a star that the WWE know they can depend on to be entertaining. If they loathed Kendrick's existence, they could have given Santino a clean win to make him look half-way serious.

I mean, stranger releases have happened (Mr. Kennedy, Elijah Burke, Gail Kim, Shantelle Taylor and even Eugene come to mind), but I still think the WWE are mighty high on Kendrick's abilities, even if they're not going to push him right away after he blew the last massive chance they gave him.

Yes and no, in my opinion. I don't have a problem with Big Zeke, and I loved the touch he added to The Kendrick character (it makes so much sense for a smarter smaller guy to enlist the help of a bad-ass), but Kendrick's best success in the character came from himself. His promo about "re-defining" war, while made extra awesome by Zeke reading "Cat in the Hat" and knowing exactly what Kendrick was talking about, didn't need Zeke. Kendrick also got his fall in the WWE Title Scramble Match without Zeke.

I think Brian Kendrick's character was ready to move on without Zeke, and that pulling Zeke from him might have even been a kayfabe reason for explaining his punishment.

I was half-joking when I suggested this, but it could actually work. I mean, it might even earn the WWE some mainstream attention. I'm thinking that jobbing to Lawler was just the WWE's way of reminding Kendrick that they can give him a lot, but they can also take it away, though.

They need to give Kendrick a good push. He has a lot of potential. I think the biggest issue is that he is still suffering from the draft that split him and london up. a team that has tremendous success, gets split up, and never again amounts to anything. they need to push him like they did with miz/morrison.

I"m with you, here. In fact, if Kendrick simply requested a re-match and countered all of King's "vintage moves" and pinned him, I"d be happy. Play up the idea that Kendrick has started scouting everyone on Raw so that he can certainly defeat anyone, even a hall-of-famer like The King.

Then he can stop being forced to work with an unaccredited has been and move on to a real storyline and feud with an actual wrestler.

lol or he should just be allowed to smoke weed. I mean fuckit, they work a hard schedule and constantly are toughing out injuries, there's nothing wrong with wanting to smoke a doob whenever he damnedwell feels like it.

He will be released shorty sometime in the quick quick future along with Jamie Noble...they have to have two roster spots availalble in the company for the return of the king of Steriods and butt jiggling....Chris Masters...the second spot on the roster will be reserved for his oversized ego and body enhancement supplies...AKA Steroids...

It sounds like a Jericho in WCW type angle, and I think it'd work for TBK as much as it might have for Y2J. It's very easy to draw parallels between the two and it must of some compensation to Kendrick fans to see how much of a success Jericho has made of himself.

Kendrick reminds me of so many guys. I see little bits of Brian Pillman, Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho in there. Not bad company, at all.
