View Full Version : When was the last time Burchill won a match?

I kinda knew that Burchill was gonna lose to Tyler Rekes (then again it could have been a twist to have Rekes lose again) but when was the last time Burchill won a match? Was it when he was feuding with Boogeyman? Could there be anything in a Goldust/ Burchill feud? I like Katie Lea, and even though Burchill is getting that reverse that Scott Stiener look (where his legs and body get bigger but his arms are still skinny) dose he still have any potential to be more than just a jobber in WWE?

I'm pretty sure he pinned Tommy Dreamer during that time when Tommy was losing to everybody right before they made him champ.

Dreamer lost to Morrison, then Miz, then Burchill in consecutive weeks or something like that.

Anyway, his matches are still good, whether he wins or not. I really hope they make something out of him.

I think there is mild interest there in Burchill, but the WWE are just happy using him as a guy to put others over right now. And Burchill does that really well. He's like a heel Val Venis, only without having made a career out of jobbing just yet.
Burchill's time will eventually come, I think. I see him being moved to either RAW or SmackDown! next year, or even later this year, and perhaps picking up a mid-card title.

I thought Burchill was a shoe-in for the Intercontinental title at one point.
Burchill still has a job? Seriously thought he was released.
He was on ECW last week also.

I'm a Burchill fan. I just don't see things getting much more exciting for him in the WWE.

Dreamer actually won that match.
After the match he gave a farewell speech to the crowd because his next match was at Extreme Rules for the ECW Championship. (If he lost, he wouldn't renew his contract)
The last match Burchill won was on February 17th of this year against The Boogeyman. Every match after that, Burchill has lost. Including dark matches. :(

I knew it was longer than what that other guy said, but I just couldn't remember how much longer. Thanks Cool King.

Listen guys, just because I'm wrong about a lot of things doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to me.

I said in the ECW thread that Burchill Regal and Sheamus (sp?) need to form some sort of faction. It'd be fun for a while..maybe.

I kinda thought that too, and since Drew McIntyre and theres a few other European guys in FCW and WWE they could form something, but I'd rather see Drew and/ or Sheamus as a singles heel. Maybe they could have Finaly retire and become Sheamus' manager but thats as far as that can go. Maybe have Paul as a leader of some of the other Brittish guys if they go in that route but I doubt it.

William Regal should be a top heel on ECW, enabled by Paul Burchill and Katie Lea. There you go.

Burchill will be in TNA's British Invasion within 6 months.
