My Logitech Speakers aren't working atm...

They are the Speakers with the Subwoofer and 2 speakers.
When I first got my computer I plugged them in and they didn't work, but my friend messed around with some settings and got them working.

My sister took the speakers to use with her laptop, now i've tried plugging them back into my computer and they won't work.
I can't get my friend because i'm stuck inside with swine flu... No Joke :(.

Anybody know how I can get them working?

Do other speakers work with your computer?
Do the speakers work with other computers?

Mess with the settings your friend did.

Try unmuting the speakers.

Make sure they're plugged into the green input and not the red.

Definately plugged into green, I've tried all of the settings in the control panel, I'm pretty computer literate, but this has just stumped me.
