I'm tired of Golden Eye so fuck it he's in the hall of fame. I'm not wasting another game on him....with that being said todays match up is:

Tony Hawks Pro skater vs NFL Blitz

THPS on N64 was way scaled back compared to the PS1 version. But so was Blitz I suppose. Blitz 2000: Gold edition was incredible though.

I'll go with Blitz.

Blitz 2000 will always be in my heart. I was #1 on most of the rankings at the arcade.

Blitz is one of my favorite games of all time, and I play it frequently with friends.

they are close but I went with skater because its fun with 1 or 2 people where as blitz is not too fun with just 1

If your only counting the N64 then its NFL Blitz since Tony Hawk #1 was basically designed for the PS1 controller while Blitz was designed more for any system that could recreate an "arcade" style game.

Got to love Blitz for "cheating." My friend got to the Superbowl undefeated. Was down by seven. Scored a touchdown at the last second. Goes for the FREE EXTRA POINT, it was NO GOOD. He was pretty pissed, but such an awesome story.

YEAH THAT HAPPENED TO ME TOO. Was playing my friend and he scored a TD which would have won it or tied it or something and the extra point was no good. We both flipped out

Wait...if you clicked for the automatic +1 pt. it would have given you THAT for free...are you perhaps trying to say that your friend WENT FOR 2 and messed that up, because that makes more sense.

I've never heard of that happening, and I was a longtime Blitz player. I'll need video proof of something.

There are no timeouts, but the clock stops after every play, and extra points after touchdowns are claimed to be automatic, unless it is chosen to go for two points. However, although rare, choosing an automatic extra point can sometimes result in the extra point being missed if the kicking team is winning by a wide margin. Very few people have ever kicked a failed extra point in the Blitz series.[citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_needed)]

I hated the AI in Blitz. We woukd akways refer to it as the "Blitz Gods" and they would do everything in their power to screw you/keep the game close.

I could imagine you losing the Super Bowl on the free xp. That is something "they" would do.

I mean comeback AI is never fun, but I thought it added to the feel of Blitz. Not many games have had such swings in momentum as Blitz.
