I could jam to that music all day. I won't. But I could.
Last I heard he was doing fitness stuff and running a school in Germany

Well now that that's out of the way, this is now an Alex Wright appreciation thread. Let us all share our kind words about Das Wunderkind.

yup.... he was good.... even as Berlyn he was half decent... he always needed someone better than him to have a great match..... never had everything needed to carry a crappier opponent to a respectable to great match..... but I liked him.... always wanted an Alex/Dean Malenko feud..... the partier/ dancer vs. Mr. Serious/ bland..... coulda had some great matches

I tend to remember a promo where he said that they call him Ultimo Dragon because he was going to be "draggin' " him all around the mat.

I thought Berlyn was a cool gimmick but if I remember correctly it didn't last too long as WCW dropped it after the Columbine shootings

Berlyn was fucking wack, I think. Das Wunderkind FOR LIFE.

I think they tried to recreate Alex Wright with DJ Gabriel. Shame they stopped trying.

Boom, there we go.
Let's start appreciating Alex Wright some more, here. He is 1-0 versus Triple H, after all.

Just jam out to his theme and you'll get in the mood to appreciate him. I guess we can throw in some Disco Inferno love too.

Disco Inferno beating Perry Saturn on Nitro for the TV title is a fond childhood memory of mine.

Hey, I remember that! I was becoming a big Disco mark around then. Chart Buster > Stunner.

Yeah then the next week he practically got squashed by Saturn.
Very sad.

He'll never be the same.
I wonder how much I would have to pay for a leather jacket actually worn by Das Wunderkind. I'm willing to pay tens of dollars for it.

Probably have to give up at least half of a ham sandwich.

That comment was not very appreciative of Alex Wright.

I would disagree with that.
