reformatting

ok i have a couple of system recovery cd's. do i need to know DOS or anything? or do i just stick in the cd's... i don't want to screw up the comp or anything... help me out here. and i will give you rep everyday.

Do they come with Floppy disks or are they simply CDs??

If just cds stick it in the cd drive and reboot. Should then boot off the CD and hey presto. No need for knowledge of DOS

the only DOS command you need for formatting is

format C:

or whichever drive letter, then just boot from your Windows CD and installlll
