I do most of my book buying at Half Price Books or thrift stores because I am not made of money.
I am currently reading Seabiscuit by Laura Hittenbrand. I'd always had a curiosity in 1930's horse racing, so this book was a real find.
Just finished Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. It was good, but the ending felt abrupt.

My latest online read has been this thread.
It was long, dry, boring and painful. Two thumbs down.

It's a good read and I even shelled out the bucks for the audiobook
I agree with Thed tho the ending was kinda abrupt
I just finished a few weeks ago Boulevard of Broken Dreams: The Life and Times and Legend of James Dean
Kinda blew the lid off the mystery and mystique and laid out his entire life for you and even managed to shock me at times
Also read The Associate by John Grisham which is alright but not one of his better reads

Middlesex was a great, great book, but you're right about the ending.
