WWE did the same thing when Santino won the intercontinental championship. It's not that horrible.

well, it was this kind of match that lead us to WCW World Heavyweight Champion David Arquette.

I think it also led us to WCW Cruiserweight champion Daffney

It has also led to Chyna being an I.C. Championship

And the Rock won the WWF title from HHH in a tag match by pinning Vince, didn't he?

The main event of the third In Your House back in 1995 was a tag match with the World, Intercontinental, and Tag Team titles all on the line. Hardly a new idea.

The Triple Header match, IIRC. Diesel and HBK vs. Owen Hart and Yokozuna.

It was also an ECW staple known as "Ultimate Jeapordy." Everyone had something to lose, hence giving them all a reason to fight hard. It's a great match concept, and I want to say it's a Heyman idea. However, there's a difference between "Ultimate Jeapordy" and just defending singles titles in a tag match. It can be done right, but it usually isn't.

And, seriously, you LIKED the idea of Chyna being Intercontinental Champion? And the Rock pinned Vince McMahon to win the WWF title held by Triple H :wtf:.

I can only really understand putting a singles title on the line in a tag match in an "Ultimate Jeapordy" type of situation. Otherwise, the miss ratio is much higher that the hits to justify it.

Actually, Chyna won the IC Title from Jeff Jarrett in a singles match.

She shared the title with Jericho as "co-champions," but that was due to the double-fall result of a triple threat match.

She did win it in a tag-match too, I believe it was Chyna/Eddie v Val Venis/Trish. Summerslam 2000 or around then.

Does this mean she's a two-time I.C Champion?

As for the TNA thing, it's not so bad. Besides, it's only the Legends Title.

I surmise she's a three time Intercontinental champion, including the co-holder reign with Jericho.
