I hate to be the one to start the "what if" topics, but after watching a decent amount of TNA tonight (a company that I don't really support) via the interwebz, who would be able to jump ship to WWE without any issue?

I would think that Abyss, Robert Roode, Eric Young, and James Storm would be atop that list. Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, and Booker T would join up in six months, but everyone else.... not too sure.

So how about you?
If TNA were to go under tomorrow who would join up with WWE?

Kevin Nash. I think he'd definitely jump at the chance to be back on a slightly more high-profile show. Only problem is, if they weren't big on him being back in WWE, they'd probably toss him on RAW and make him the butt of some lame comedy angle.

Funny story there. Kurt I believe requested his release for time off to heal or be with the family or something legitimate. They granted it to him and suddenly he appeared on their program as some sort of savior for TNA.

I don't think WWE would be too keen on welcoming him back with open arms, all things considered.

An Abyss/Kane feud would be inevitable.

Guys like Shelley, Sabin, Roode, Young, Daniels, Styles and Storm would get signed but not do a lot and released within a few years. (Unless a few could make it big in WWECW)

For some reason I think Samoa Joe would get over in WWE, not sure why, just a feeling that he would. Could potentially lead to a re-hiring of Umaga and a tag-team/feud.

Kurt Angle would be hired again instantly, no matter the bad blood. Nash wouldn't, Steiner wouldn't, Booker maybe.

After what he's said about Hunter and Shawn, Steiner would definitely not get an offer. I've always thought Abyss was a much shittier Kane/ Mankind ripoff so I don't know about him either. The greatest thing to possibly come out of it would be maybe a HHH vs. Sting feud with Ric Flair as an instigator/ hype man maybe since he's close to both of them. Angle would get the Christian treatment because Vince is spiteful.

Abyss had the chance to go to the WWE and they never offered him a deal. What makes you think they would now when he like 10 times less over?

As for Steiner not getting an offer, if Vince McMahon thought he could make money from Scott Steiner, he'd bring him back at the snap of a finger. There are no grudges when making money is involved.

If Helms got a fair amount of clout he'll probably make an attempt to bring Velvet Sky aboard, that's if they're still dating. As for the rest of the knockouts, they know how to fight and Gail Kim may put a good word in for a few for of them. Although it's hard to say what the divas would think.

Also, would it be a bad idea to bring Road Dogg and Assman back into the fold the juice up the tag team division?

Abyss would not we signed, nor would the indy guys such as Daniels, Sabin, Shelley, Kax, LAX,etc.

I see MAtt Morgan, Kurt ANgle, Kevin Nash, Robert Roode, James Storm and The Beautiful People (Angelina & Velvet only) being the ones with contract offers....

I like how you go for reuniting a team that hasn't been together on WWE programming in 10 years and on TNA in 18 months over the Dudleys..

Oh wait, I forget..TPWW hates the Dudleys.

Potentially I think any of them could sign with WWE. As Rob said, there are no grudges if there is an oppotunity to make money, and for all these wrestlers to be in TNA means that there is more hype about them than if they were in some lame indy fed like CZW.

Obviously some guys stand more chance than others, but I think generally anyone could appear in WWE.

Steiner has said some pretty personal shit about his son in law fucking his daughter to get to the top. I don't see Hunter, the future heir, allowing it. Not to mention Steiner is a walking wellness policy violation. Him and Batista could have a gimmick match to see who goes the longest without tearing a muscle. It could be called bi's, tri's, and thighs.

I'd honestly like to see WWE sign up as many as they can, even if just on short term or per-appearance deals, so they can have another crack at an invasion angle.

Would Vince even both trying to buy their video library?

I suppose maybe for a Sting DVD but other than that he's missing only small portions of a few guys careers that he could make money off of (Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, etc.)

From the main event, I think the only two that would likely not be given offers would be Scott Steiner, Booker T, Jeff Jarrett and Mick Foley. Steiner's last run in the WWE wasn't too successful, he's way past it, and there just isn't enough demand to bring him over. Booker T left the company in a bit of a huff. There may not be "bad blood," but I just think Booker would choose to focus on other things than come in as an outside for the second time. Mick Foley is still a fairly fresh departure, so his relationship with the WWE probably needs time to heal.

Kurt Angle would be snatched up, as would Samoa Joe. Kevin Nash has enough friends that he could very well end up as a permanent RAW General Manager, or something -- perhaps even replacing Jerry Lawler if he decides to go for Mayor. Sting would get the chance for one more run.

AJ Styles, Hernandez, Homicide, Matt Morgan, Daivari, Jay Lethal, Team 3D, Beer Money, Inc, and The Motor City Machine Guns are all guys I can see in the WWE without too much trouble. As for the ladies, I can pretty much see them all getting signed.
