Smackdown is definitely short on depth and Taker is a huge star. Assuming Hardy's gone by the time he returns and Punk is champ, do you automatically put him in a program with him? If so who goes over? What about Ziggler? We've seen Taker vs. Big Show before so I dunno about that. Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that Taker will be put against Punk, and will eventually capture the title. This will lead into Taker-Jericho at Mania.

Undertaker and Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania doesn't seem like such a great idea to me. :nono:

Taker over to Raw for Round 2 with Orton
Or better yet, Heel taker returns and goes into a program with Cena

Why? 2 top guys, who would have an amazing match.

I'm with Rammstein... no doubt that Taker & Jericho are two of the top performers in WWE, but I don't see them having an excellent match....I'd love to see both Taker & HBK stay away until Royal Rumble, both enter as mystery entrants, eliminate each other near the end and set up for a WM rematch at WM26 in another 5-star match.....

Taker Vs HBK = 5 stars
HBK vs Jericho = 5 Stars
Why would you assume Taker vs Jericho would not be the same?
You have nothing to base you assumption on.

I think if anything, the WM match showed that while Taker isn't as athletic as either Jericho or HBK, he certainly isn't a slouch and can keep up with them

To be honest if we're talking Wrestlemania matches here, I'd like to see Undertaker take on John Cena or Shawn Michaels (Nick55555's idea is pretty cool, but I don't see them both being off until January).
I'd like to see Jericho in a world title match. Looking at Smackdown now, I wouldn't mind a Fatal-Four Way with Jericho, CM Punk, Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio.

I'd like to see Hardy vs Undertaker. Build the return on it. Have Hardy finish with Punk still holding the title. Then put him over in a feud with Jericho or Kane of Finlay or someone. Then have a victory celebration interrupted with the classic Taker Tron video, only cut in clips from the Hardy/Undertaker ladder match. Then kind of go from there
You know, writing that made me realize how heel-starved Smackdown is.

The key part of both of those matches are the intials 'HBK'. Jericho isn't capable of having a top notch match with anybody, like Michaels, and Taker definitely isn't. However that's not to say they wouldn't put something very good on.

Maybe they'll stick him in a feud with Kane?
