Could a Thursday night, national broadcasted FCW show work to blow TNA out of the water (blow ECW out of the water for that matter)

if TNA and FCW were on in the same night with FCW guys being called up to ECW(or go from TNA to FCW/ECW), it would make TNA look inferior to ECW...if done right...

fcw is crap, it wouldn't even touch tna in the ratings

in fact fcw might struggle in a ratings war with jcw (juggalo championshit wrestling)

ROH and TNA should share talent to get eachother noticed... I guess that would hurt TNA and help ROH more than anything...

well most of the tna roster came from roh anyways lol

No. FCW is developmental for a reason, almost everyone (a few names exempt from this) are green as shit (the green apple splatters) and it's just not a good show normally. Plus Dusty Rhodes doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about, ever.

I am sure it could compete with TNA, as long as WWE let fans know that it was a WWE production.

It's weird to say, but TNA has WAYYYYY too much talent on their roster for a company only having one two-hour show. What is there like 20 knockouts on the roster? That is way too much. The way they are running things now, with the main event mafia and the world elite and other factions, when you gotta form a bunch of groups like that just to fit a majority of your talent on the show, that's poor booking in my view. These guys are just fillers and not really getting a chance to make an individual impact on the show and to the company. Also sad when you have young talents like Joe and AJ being lost in the shuffle and virtually wasted. TNA could have really gone up back in 2006 when Samoa Joe was all the rage, and he couldn't be beat and was choking everyone out, then Kurt Angle came along and just messed it all up. Don't get me wrong, Kurt Angle is the only one in that company that is over 40 that deserves where he is at and can still wrestle and AWESOME match, but the rest of them need to be working backstage. When they put the belt on Foley, who can't even walk up the ramp, I nearly vomited. Like I said, Joe, and AJ being wasted.

Sorry about my rant here, but gosh it's frustrating.

Oh well, at least Velvet still shakes her ass on the apron during the entrance, so they got that going for them. But if they don't stop cutting away to replay footage during her entrance.... I am just gonna snap.

Sadly, yes it could compete with TNA.

I love FCW, but yeah the production values and in-ring product aren't ready for national exposure yet. There's some tremendous talent there, though. Just look at who's come out of there recently.

ECW is good enough for this reason. FCW should not be national because WWE needs to be able to tweak gimmicks and whatnot.

I was watching a Match today and I noticed they also have a General manager, as for the WWE production thing, the set was all WWE Posters and Promo's...

the production value seemed as good as TNA, with Dusty at the booth...

It's a developmental promotion, why would WWE expose a bunch of rookies and greenhorns to national television? WWE has 3 shows, which is too much as it is.

Asking the question is stupid, saying it's possible is utterly retarded.

FCW, being the WWE's training camp, could compete with TNA based on the idea that you'll see nothing but fresh, young talent that'll rise to superstardom over time. However, with that in mind...

ECW is good enough for this reason. FCW should not be national because WWE needs to be able to tweak gimmicks and whatnot.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

ECW is basically 75% FCW guys now anyway isn't it?

I'm pretty sure TNA's fanbase is the demographic that would pretty much watch any televised wrestling, so probably.

tna is already competing with wwe and beating many of their shows and in the uk tna is blowing wwe away for all the shows of wwe so for fcw to compete with tna fcw would essentially have to compete with the wwe and the wwe are fcw so the would have to beat themselves and if that ever happened the world would implode in on itself creating a parallel wrestling universe where john cena is classed as a better wrestler than the american dragon and wwe host the tournament of death and wcw still exists

UK Tna is beating WWE because Sky Sports: the network that shows WWE is expensive. TNA beating the WWE's C Show (ECW) does not mean TNA is competing. TNA can't even get a 2.0 rating.

No Smackdown are losing viewers. TNA's ratings have barely risen.

Last I knew, TNA was getting a better rating but fewer viewers. Rating points are good when comparing across the same time slot, but they don't stack up as well at different hours of the same night, much less different nights.

Regardless, you're right. beating the C Show is hardly even competing. Nobody would have bragged about beating Heat.

FCW has got some good talent there, but there's no point to making it a legitimate brand. That's what ECW is sort of for -- a gateway between being a rookie and being a "Superstar." But, that being said, hypothetically, if the WWE kept a lot of the greener guys off an FCW show, and the purpose behind it was to make FCW seem like a credible brand, then they do have enough good talent working down there to make it entertaining television.

But with guys like Drew McIntyre, Alex Riley, Beverly, Eric Escobar and such all getting dark matches, and perhaps even some more to follow, FCW is going to have to adapt to losing some big stars soon. I mean, they are still booking Yoshi Tatsu, Tyler Reks and Tyson Kidd right now and are edging those guys out of their programming.

I'm hijacking this thread, because it's so irrelevant that it makes my head hurt.

NEW TOPIC:

Could any food ever compete with the awesomeness that is BACON.

After seeing the TNA PPV tonight on a free stream, Backyard wrestling volume 6 could beat TNA.

What kills me about the Coke pic is that it's diet Coke with bacon.

Wait, what? The dude is frying bacon on the grill.... However if you look closely at the pan it's already a grill pan (you can see the ridges in between the bacon slices). That's like trying to dry yourself off with water.

I demand to see the whole picture so I know the heat source!!! I can not deduce the heat source without a full picture of the scene!
