Goodfellas wins its fifth matchup and becomes our first Hall of Fame inductee. Congratulations, fellas. So now we start fresh with two new movies.

Our two movies chosen to do battle will surely make our friend Downunder happy, as will explore the extremes of Jim Carrey's acting career.

Dumb and Dumber was ok...when I was like 12. Eternal Sunshine is an actual amazing movie.

I voted for Eternal Sunshine. On the whole, it is a decent movie. A bit overrated by people.

But I enjoyed it more than Dumb and Dumber. I'd watch Eternal Sunshine again before watching Dumb & Dumber again.

I guess Dumb and Dumber. I didn't really like Eternal Sunshine, mostly because I think Kate Winslet was the wrong choice for lead. I haven't seen Dumb and Dumber since it came out, but I don't remember having any gripes with it then.

I've seen D&D like 100 times by now. it's my fav comedy movie ever and I can watch it anytime it is on. so many great one liners come out of this movie

the other movie sucked. some kind of like weird depressing bullshit. the only good thing that came out of it was that piano piece of Row Row Row Your boat.

I actually loved Eternal Sunshine, and D&D is probably one of my least favourite Carey movies.

D&D is one of the best comedies in recent years so it gets my vote here. For some reason the first trailer I saw for that movie I could have sworn that they called it "Stupid & Stupider" which would made sense. Never bothered watching the so called prequel as I've heard it's craptacular.

Eternal Sunshine is a much better movie as a whole. Dumb and Dumber was funny, but it's not as good of a movie. Also, I've seen Eternal Sunshine probably about six times and Dumb and Dumber like three. Eternal Sunshine is actually better the second time around once you know what to watch for.

I really really liked Eternal Sunshine. Dumb and Dumber? eh when I was younger maybe, doesn't really 'do it' for me anymore :(

Had to go with D&D. I loved Eternal b/c it was something different then the usual Jim Carrey movies. but D&D to this day still cracks me up. I think it still holds the record for the longest "taking a shit" scene

I love Eternal Sunshine, really fuckin love it.

BUT....D&D has stood the test of time, its probably my fave comedy and my most respected.

Eternal Sunshine is decent, if overrated by some people.

Haven't seen Dumb and Dumber in a long time, but from what I remember, it wasn't a very good movie at all.
