Like the title says :o
I wanna either get rid of it altogether, or just prevent it from starting up when Windows starts.
Anyone want to lend a hand?

I can't get to the main window :o
That's the FIRST thing I thought of, but I can't find a way to get to that window. The only thing that I can get to is the chat window when some messages me :-\

What do you mean you can't get to the main window? :wtf:
When MSN is open, just double-click the item in the system tray, and the main window should open. From there just go to Tools > Options > General, then uncheck it :o

Or if you're really suer you can't do that...
Click on Start > Run then type in "msconfig", then go to the Startup tab, and uncheck "msnmsgr". That should stop it from opening on startup.

You can also go to Add or Remove Programs in your Control Panel, click on Add/Remove Windows Components on the left side of the window, and uncheck Windows Messenger.
That will get rid of the program off your computer.

With me there are two versions running: Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger.
I'm trying to shut off Windows Messenger, yet I can't get to its main main window because there is no icon that shows that it's running :-\

You should be able to get to the Windows Messenger main window through your Start Menu.
