View Full Version : Is the TNA Knockouts Tag Division the worst idea since the "Juniors" division on SD?

I don't know why they think this is a good idea whatsoever. There's not enough knockouts to compete in the division. You know, just when you think TNA has some remote clue, they make a decision like this.

This reminds me of WCW creating the Cruiserweight Tag Titles. They are over exposing their only strength to the point that the fans will get bored with it.

Not as such. The women's wrestling on TNA is really strong and the talent pool quite deep, so it makes sense to get as many of the wrestlers on screen as possible.
My main concern is that the womens' matches will become the regular clusterfucks that TNA is known for.
I don't think there's necessarily a need to create a division or belts either. Just having more womens' tag matches and even more than one singles match per show would achieve the same results without having to classify a whole division.

It will be somewhat interesting (that is, with "fresh" feuds over the belts) for about three months.
Unnecessary to add more belts, though. And, as Chavo Classic said, these matches will become clusterfucks like the rest of the show.

nah..... over-exposure for sure... a huge fan of the TNA Knockouts division, but there's too many of them to begin with.... get rid of Christy, Sojo, Rhaka, Taylor & prolly a few more, keep the roster of women down to 8-10

My biggest problem with the tag titles and tournament is that the one actual team, The Beautiful People, aren't even in the tourney, at least according to spoilers so far.

This from the company that brought you the reverse ladder match that is set up like a game of MouseTrap.
If you have never played MouseTrap....

WCW also had U.S. Tag Titles which were pretty much towards the end "pair up two guys and let em have the belts" though the Freebirds and Steiners did hold the belts at one point or another.

oh let them have their knockouts tag team titles. if wwe can have a women's and diva's title (Unnecessary) then there is no harm in TNA having a 2nd women's championship

if there is more of a chance to see love and sky then im all for it

The matches really aren't that good. Love isn't great, Sky isn't either. Sharmell and Brooke suck. Who is there really that you can look and say "great worker"? ODB? Kong? Victoria? That's really about it.
