Yeah heel turns that didn't work at all.
Goldberg in WCW turning and joining Vince Russo's "New Blood" stable. Yeah that sucked and didn't last long.

I guess Shawn Michaels turn for his feud versus Hogan didn't go overly well, as he was back to being a face by the next PPV.... but that might have been by design

Goldberg's was pretty bad. A stupid heel turn I remember was Buff Bagwell after he came back from his neck injury. WCW had an opportunity to have Bagwell become a babyface who "overcame the odds" and get revenge, and yet they decided to turn him back heel which was totally pointless.

It wasn't that the turn was bad, but ultimately useless due to his nearly simultaneous release.

Now that I look back I don't feel that Christian's 1st heel turn in WWE was really a smart move at all it should have been Edge instead I think the feud could have been alot better.

I didn't read the whole thread but I noticed you're talking about a lot of heel turns and best wishes in future endevors...
I think it's more the fact that they turn them heel/face before releasing them just to see if it works out, planning on releasing them anyway(inless it works out)

Goldbergs turn was one of the worst
Dusty Rhodes heel run in the NWO has to be one of the worst decisions ever

Stone Cold Steve Austin's heel turn in 2001, while shocking, was probably a really stupid business decision. What made it worse was bringing in both Diamond Dallas Page and Booker T as joke heels to serve in the Alliance.

I think The Rock's heel turn in 2002 was kinda bad compared to his 99 turn when he joined the Corporation (which was short lived). Also I noticed a few posts regarding Kane, and I just wanted to add that Kane debuted as a heel and that is when he was most dominant.

I have to disagree with you on the first part of this statement I though it turned out to be one of the greatest heel turns ever and it was a pity that it was his last run at that.

Any late WCW or TNA Sting, simply for the fact he can't, or doesn't want to, make people boo him.
