Nice, Morrison and Ziggler at Breaking Point, should be a 4 star match if not better.
Nah, US title match will make it to the PPV...Kofi vs ???
Morrison is Mr. no PPV
Um...pretty sure that Ziggler is booked for an IC Title match at Breaking Point....and I don't see Morrison losing the title before then. Still Morrison vs Ziggler will be a kickass match.
Gee, I was right all along, especially if they replace it with a Kofi US title match (which they almost have to do since theres only 6 matches and one of them is Kahli/Kane which wont go more than 5 minutes).
what a crappy 1,000th post..bleh

They replaced the IC Title match with a backstage segment of Cena going on a 20 minute rant of how he will not quit
Cena: Will I say I QUIT? NO! I QUIT will NOT BE UTTERED! I QUIT! I QUIT! It won't leave my lips! I QUIT! NEVER!
Vince: They are going to be SO surprised with the finish!
Cena: ...I QUIT...

That would have to be saved for TLC: THE PPV
First they need to have a submission match, where they dress up Chavo as Hornswaggles slave and..

Except you forgot...Nobody's really expecting Taker to go over in the WHC match, so it would be more logical for them to do it to the Cena/Orton WWE title match, since about 90% of people expect Cena to go over.

I'm with the majority in saying that this is crap. I definitely dont get why Morrison keeps getting pulled from ppvs. I doubt there will be a good enough reason for this.

They could at least have run an angle with a backstage beatdown at the PPV or something, anything other than just dropping the match.

I don't know, maybe the reason for it is that the buildup and heat around the anticipated IC title match was killed when a Mexican Midget screwed the wellness pooch? Maybe? Anyone?

I actually agree with this. The fued with Rey and Mr Ziggles had alot of build and heat over the past couple of months and when Rey decided his breaking point was crack then they they took out the match. There is no doubt that Morrison and Mr Ziggles would be an awesome match but there hasn't been enough build to showcase it on ppv.

That's just a sad excuse to me. You could just have it end in DQ and continue the feud from there. Have ziggler get frustrated that he can't seem to win the IC title or something and have him get himself DQ'ed while beating down morrison, is that really a worse idea than pulling the match from the card?

Again, it makes total sense to scrap the match with no buildup to give other matches more time. Or we can have a piece of shit match like that Christian/Regal business we had last time, so that everyone can whine and cry about that instead.

Ziggler was at summerslam remember? Morrisons the only one i find bizarre, it really doesn't matter about 'no build' if its a great match and people care about the two superstars, which seemed to be the case on smackdown this week.

Another reason this makes zero sense is that they explained Ziggler not getting the shot on SD! as him earning a shot at the IC Title at Breaking Point. So, Ziggler was never the No. 1 Contender per se.
Makes me wonder why they just didn't have Ziggler beat Mysterio on SD! if that's what they had intended to do at the PPV!?

I actually find myself agreeing with Tedious for once. It's pretty fucking obvious the WWE are super high on both John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler right now. Sure, it sucks that we teased ourselves with the idea of the match, but it makes perfect sense to postpone the match while we get more build so people are actually willing to pay to see these two go at it.
The two will have their IC Title match at Hell in a Cell. There's not heat on either man -- Michael Hayes just knows what he is doing. We'll get more interaction between Johnny Nitro and Mr Ziggles on SmackDown! over the next two or three weeks (however long it is until HIAC), and then we get the classic we are all after.
Relax, guys.
Besides, I think it is about time Kofi Kingston made a PPV anyway. The IC Title has gotten a lot of PPV time recently, so it makes sense to give a good spot to The Miz and Kofi. I actually expect The Miz to win the US Title here, and possibly then possibly bump into Maryse, and start shagging her in kayfabe -- because The Miz is awesome.

Ideally, I'd like to see them go about twenty minutes. Christian and Regal can both work it, and the ECW Title could really use some solid matches to its name.

This is a good point, so in wwe logic, ziggler should've got the title match regardless of what build the match got. You could argue ziggler getting the title shot at the PPV was enough build.

Cena & Swoggle vs Chavo and Orton in a slave submission i quit father nelson on a pole match for the WWE Championship has been added to the Breaking Point card.
.....did WWE get Russo back?
Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison was pulled from the Breaking Point card because WWE could not come up with a finish for the match, possibly due to not wanting more than one screwjob finish on the same show, which may end up relating to CM Punk vs. The Undertaker. Adding Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz was a late decision. The plan as of now is to have Ziggler vs. Morrison at the Hell in the Cell PPV in three weeks, though that could change. The original plan was to have the Undertaker beat CM Punk at the PPV tomorrow, but sentiment backstage now is that the timing is wrong for that, so the match may end up with a screwjob finish, setting up a Hell in the Cell match between the two in three weeks. Or they could all have a triple threat where match for the title where ziggler beats rey for it rather than morrison....
That is exactly where I see this going. Ziggler and Morrison have their match at Hell in a Cell, where Morrison retains the title in another close call. Rey Mysterio then comes back, and requests his rematch, but during that match (which can happen on SmackDown! or Superstars), Ziggler runs in and lays out both guys, causing the match to end in a double disqualification.
This leads to a Triple Threat at Bragging Rights, where Ziggler actually gets the win by pinning Rey Mysterio. John Morrison is a little pissed off, and these leads to tension between Rey and Morrison -- more than the "friendly competition" kind -- and Ziggler is of course a massive douche in the story. You can build things further from there, with Morrison wanting the IC Title back, and Mysterio doing his mid-card service for being busted.
I could imagine a Triple Threat Ladder Match between the three down the line. That could be very cool. Essentially I think it would be Ziggler and Morrison trading the belt back and forth, though.
