Just watched the season premiere. Crazy. Looks like this is going to be a wild season. I feel sorry for people that don't watch this show. They're missing out.

Finally saw this episode last night and let me say...AWSOME! Every little bit of this show just keeps getting better and better. I mean that too. The bits of exposition, the fight sequences with the demons...god damn. And of course, the Angles can just go fuck themselves.

Honestly....can't wait for the rest of the season.

D Mac

The Angles? Kurt Angle's family? :p

Yeah, Castiel is the man tho.

Saw it today. Felt like there was no break in between. It's like it just picked right up where they left off. I mean that's pretty much what happened but almost every other show is like a few weeks or months later between each season and you get a new feeling. So for me it didn't feel like such a bang for the first episode. The brothers need to learn how to fight or something though. Seems like they always need some kind of supernatural help to bail them out.

Suh-weet.

And this is definitely the last season, so you know people are gonna die. Fact I thought somebody already did.

Yeah I saw them both. Whenever one was in trouble I'd yell out, "Sam!" on Valentine and "Dean!" on 13th. :D

Mr. Monday Morning

Padalecki said himself that Season 6 is almost a sure thing.

If they do, and reading around there's a possibility, it will be like a clean break. They planned this story out for 5, so something big is going down.

Mr. Monday Morning
09-19-2009, 11:16 AM
Talk about your misleading episode titles

I just hope they don't do what they seem to have done every other season - first few episodes set the story up, move it along nicely, get to halfway through, break, come back with about 5-6 shit episodes of filler, then finish up the story.

I mean there's enough potential for material here to last a season. The whole god being absent thing is VERY reminiscent of Preacher, so we'll see where they go with it.

It's supposed to anyways. Not too sure if it actually will. The creator of the show has said he wants everything done with in 5 seasons and looks like he'll be tying up alot of loose ends at the end of this season.

The two stars are signed on for another season so.....we'll see.

So we're watching Changing Channels tonight and oh my god it already rocks. The Trickster apperently traps Dean and Sam in an alternite universe where it's just like TV. And I'm talking all sorts of TV shows. From family sitcoms(with the opening credits being in the Full House style) to CSI Miami parody. Honestly, this is got to be the greatest tv show of all damn time!

So it turns out there was no Trickster proper at all. It was an angel, Gabriel to be exact, the entire time. If that don't beat all I have no clue why.

But alot of the stuff that he said to Sam and Dean raised a few points. If Lucifer and Micheal have always been destined to fight...does that mean we've had the end of the world before?

Cain and Able anyone?

Last night's ep, The Real Ghost Busters, is watch and now my thoughts.

Good lord that was such a fucking meta episode I couldn't stop laughing and groaning at the digs and gags done at the audience's expense. The whole episode didn't do anything to the overall plot cept for the very end but it was very character building for the boys to see that even though they're creeped out by the whole concept, it gives people hope in their sad lives and hope for the future. I guess that's why the books will be called the Winchester Gospels after the end of the world.

And what a spoiler that was. Bella didn't give the Colt to Lilith but to another Demon? I wonder what'll happen to him when Sam and Dean(the real one's not the gay duo we were introduced to) catch up to him.

I am gonna so miss this show when it's over.

Jura
11-14-2009, 01:41 AM
Yeah it's like every episode is something new that doesn't have to do with the main story and then they add a little something that actually deals with the main story. Then every few episodes they throw in a storyline episode that usually has Castiel in it.

Shadow
11-22-2009, 03:18 AM
Well Abandon All Hope has been watched finally and here's the thoughts as follows.

FUCK YOU SUPERNATURAL! FUCK YOU HARD! I'm serious too. Luci's all powerful and one 5 things the damn Colt can't kill? COP OUT! COP OUT! Especially if the other 4 are the 4 Horsemen that's just bogus. My guess...the colt can't kill Luci, Big Mike and God to name 3 but I'm wondering who the other two could be. But yeah, that was just weak. Does this show ever give a victory to it's two main characters? Ever?

Oh and don't get me started on the death's of Jo and Ellen. that was just totally uncalled for. Yeah I know they're not that important but god damn....that was just so damn unnessesary. Can we give the "good" guys a break once in a while? God damn.

All in all a good ep and so pissed we're not geting anything new till January.

Jura
11-22-2009, 04:43 AM
I didn't want Jo to die. She was hot :( and I was hoping she'd end up with Dean. I'm kind of glad for a break because I got all these movies and shows that I haven't watched that I need to catch up with.

As for the Colt, I think you can add the Angel of Death to that list. Everyone was thinking the Colt would kill Lucifer but I always had in my mind that the Colt is just a gun no matter how magical it is how could it defeat Lucifer? There's Lucifer being limited by his vessel but it seems that he's still powerful enough to overcome the Colt. Then what if the Colt can kill any demon but Lucifer isn't actually a demon? He's a fallen angel. So what if we can classify Lucifer under Angels along with Michael and Cas? With this logic it'll be 1. God 2. Angels 3. xxx 4. xxx 5. xxx

Finding out the colt is useless against Lucifer, the Angel of Death is coming, Jo and Ellen dying makes the title of the episode really fitting though. I think Gabriel will have a part to play.

WOOOOOOOO Supernatural Season 6 is confirmed.

The weird and surprisingly tense Supernatural is coming back for it's sixth year, the CW has announced, but the show creator and runner Eric Kripke won't be the show runner anymore, replaced by Sera Gamble, who has been with the show since the beginning.

Supernatural was originally planned to run for five years, and so all the storylines have worked to that end, but the steady popularity has brought it back for another year, and that's always good to see-- but will it be good for the show? It's encouraging that the replacement show runner has been there through the whole of the show's history, and that Kripke will not abandon the show all together, but is staying on as a hands-on sort of executive producer, but will the transition be seamless? There's almost always a notable shift when someone else takes over, and with Kripke signing on to develop other shows for the CW, will he be able to keep it on track through this first unplanned year?

Let's wait and see. This is wild new country!

Dark Side of the Moon watched and thoughts as follows.

Man are angels dicks. But they sure no where the authority comes from. Seriouslly Zach must have crapped his pants when Joshua showed up and said that God knew what was going on and when he finally came home Zach and his might get more then demoted to Cherubs. The end message though really got to me though. God knows what's going on....but doesn't care. How soul shattering is that? Yeah we're on a mission to find God and all but he don't wanna be found. Wow. Just wow. Dean's faith in a good ending just got totally smacked down and Sam just doesn't know what to do. Really got to me the way that this episode said that everything Sam and Dean are trying to do is just futile. Though I wonder if God actually ment that. He does work in mysterious ways after all. I dunno. I just hope it turns out that he really si gonna come back and smack the crap outta both Lucifer and Micheal.

Next week though we've got the Children of the Corn town...should be fun!

Sorry for the long wait between posts....had to work on the Thursday it aired. So anyways! 99 Problems has been watched and a bitch is one of those problems.

So this episode we get the Whore of Bablyon is out and about corrupting a whole town of people. Honestly I think that this whole con was rather...well done. It started out as a good idea but quickly turned tits up rather quickly. But of course the Brothers with the huge caliber shoot up and the bitch gets ventalated. And even though last week Dean lost all faith in God's plan...seems he's back on board with the angels. Huh....wonder what's up with that.

For me the better parts, like this entire season has been, was with Cas. A drunk fallen angel...that's hilarity. I'm still not convinced Dean's gonna go with Heaven's plan 100% but we'll see. I trust these guys too much for them to fuck it up.

Jura
04-14-2010, 12:17 PM
Well that's why he could kill the whore and that's why it looks like he will say yes to Michael because he lost faith in God. He lost faith that he and Sam can save everyone. Saying yes to Michael will be the end of the world that they know. It seems to all point to the assumption that he will say yes. Being able to kill the whore, he probably made the deal in his head, saying goodbye to his love Lisa and Sam being really worried that Dean will do something crazy like say yes to Michael. But of course it probably won't happen or at least won't happen like we think.

Jon Kano

Dear Supernatural viewers, I have hacked this thread to say something..

I have just learned the guy who plays Lucifer in this show, also plays Jacob in LOST. Pretty much polar opposite of characters. Does he play a good Lucifer?

Jura
04-14-2010, 12:36 PM
You have an obsession with Lost actors appearing in other shows.

I think he's a sucky Lucifer. Sam plays a great Lucifer dressed all in white and his hair slick. He's okay as the human vessel for Lucifer though but they only showed that for a brief time. He was grieving over his dead wife and Lucifer preyed on that to get him to say yes to be his vessel.

Jon Kano
04-14-2010, 12:39 PM
I do not have an obsession. I'm just really good at remembering faces and names in general, which also applied to TV shows. I just found out while I was looking at the guy's IMDB page.

YOU have an obsession with keeping up to date with what I appear to be obsessed about.

Jura

Could have been a much better episode. Can't believe Lucifer was able to gank everyone without the least bit of resistance. Thought there was going to be a showdown between him and Baldur but it ended in seconds.

Also I don't like the guy playing Lucifer. I get the part where he looks like a zombie because his vessel isn't strong enough but they made him look like just another petty Archangel that was being rebellious against his father instead of how they made him look when Sam was Lucifer in the future.

I think the whole Adam and Sam as Michael and Lucifer dialogue didn't fit. I felt that if Dean was Michael then everything would sound so right. That's the only part I didn't like besides not seeing them fight at all.

As for Sam getting out I think the combined powers of Michael and Lucifer could have done something. If not then maybe God just freed Sam from being Lucifer's vessel. Either it's Lucifer or it's Sam with powers because the light cracked.

I feel like Chuck could have been God all along too.

I agree on every point except the last. That made me want to put babies in a blender.

I assumed Sam getting out was tacked on.

Adam sort of seemed tacked on in the first place, but I liked the finish anyway.

At a guess, I think Lucifer won. Whether or not he's still skinriding Sammy is another question entirely, but I'm betting the cage was only big enough for one, and Michael is still cooling his heels.

I read a while back they optioned the actors for another season without the creator and writers. The ending sort of seems fitting with that in mind, but is it true? Chuck included, though that would seem to mandate some serious retconning.
