...and could walk like a normal person, I think I could really enjoy him. It would make him more mobile and give him greater balance, which would ultimately enhance any match he would be in. I just caught SD, and I'm really hoping they use this opportunity to get Dalip the surgery he needs to improve both his performances and his daily life in general.
If Khali had knees...how would you feel?
I would be happy for him.

Then hire someone who looks Indian and repackage him. I doubt McMahon would even question the morals of that.
On the other hand, the WWE will be popular in India regardless of the roster - I bet CM Punk and Orton still sell fourfold as many shirts and DVDs as Khali. He's dispensable.

Well, obviously I'm talking about Khali as a slow giant with limited ability. But for what he is and what he could be, I think he'd be enjoyable if he could at least walk.

I heard that apparently Khali is insanely over in India. That he is up there in popularity, not far lower than cricket guns like Sachin. For non-commonwealth tpwwers, cricket in India is pretty much their main religion.

Yeah, Sonjay Dutt would be a perfect fit into SmackDOWN! right now.
As for Khali's knees...I don't think they'd help all that much. He seems like a great guy and all, but I can't enjoy his wrestling work.

i don't think having knees will change my opinion. yeah Khali will be more mobile but the guy can't wrestle and getting knees won't change that

That was entirely not the point. I know he doesn't wrestle, and I know knee surgery won't magically give him the ability to do so. But it will make him able to walk and balance himself like, say, a person, and his size would actually have meaning. Giving his giant character...you know...imposition.
To repeat myself -- again -- I'm not asking if abyone thinks he'd become a great athlete. I"m asking if you could enjoy him for what he is. That being, of course, the giant monster powerhouse that doesn't topple at a slight breeze.
