Clerks shows that Superbad is not a comedy classic YET and easily moves on to the next round.

But they better look over their should for their next opponent. Because it's looking right at them.

Rear Window is one of the best movies I've ever seen, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets completely blown out here.

Clerks. Not really a fan of Hitchcock

Wait a second is this a joke?

I mean sure opinions should be respected and all, but this thread is titled "better movie" and not "movie you like more because of your crappy taste".

How the hell can someone honestly say that Clerks is a better piece of cinematic art then Rear Window. What the hell does Clerks consist of that would make it a better movie? A juvenile script that becomes more and more unfunny with every pubic hair that sprouts on your balls and an extremely shitty and amateur-ish black and white cinematography is somehow better then Hitchcock's flawless masterpiece? Jesus.....

Still haven't seen Clerks, but this is one of the cases where I like the other movie so much I may vote for it if it needs it.

And if you don't like it, well.... DON'T HATE THE PLAYA, HATE THE GAME! *cue Booker T music*

Sorry. In my opinion Clerks is better than anything your beloved Hitchcock has done. You gonna cry about it some more?

I don't get why these contests draw battle lines, but I like it. It makes for good debate.

Personally, I don't look at it that way. I will pick the better movie for whatever reasons, but I usually don't take umbrage to the other film.
As a matter of fact, I think every movie that has contended so far has been one that I think is great.

I'm a film geek though, and love movies of all genres and styles from any time period.

Kevin Smith is horribly over-rated. Rear Window by a mile.

I am going to be honest, I would of never seen Rear Window if they didn't show it in my Film Class back in college. Excellent movie. I tend to hate older movies as most bore the shit out of me, but this one was great.

Lots of suspense and the buildup was tremendous. Definately gets a nod over Clerks
